Review based off 6 entrees and multiple visits. Reading the reviews of others, I feel like I didn’t even go to the same restaurant. (Wok and Roll Leland NC). The good: S&S Chicken (always reliable), egg rolls were just . Shredded spicy beef . The bad: shrimp egg foo young and pork egg foo young (very tasteless and bland), moo goo gia pan was soupy, drowning in mushrooms and the chicken was large flat cuts of some weird variety of processed chicken. Gross texture. Cashew chicken had the same nasty chicken and very few cashews. I miss good Chinese food from the past .

If you know what real Chinese food is then this is the spot you want to be. I cant speak on the quality of the food from others but out of the 10+ times I have been here . Its never been overcooked nor have ever felt rushed by the lady in the front that hustles both customers and cooks in the back. People need to understand that just because you don’t think your being heard you are, quit being overly sensitive and understand what it’s like to run a business. Would definitely recommend to anyone that’s looking for something with taste without the cardboard.

My food was overcooked. My beef sticks were burnt, egg roll half done. My plate was melted on top from hot food. This was the worst experience I have ever had with them. They were one of my favorite places to eat, but from now on, I will use caution and double-check for anything and everything!!!!!

The main dishes were not good. at all. Chicken was tough dark meat, if it really was chicken!! At other restaurants garlic chicken is white meat, I have no idea what kind of tough meat they used but if was yuck!!! The only thing worth a star or two was the crab rangoon. It’s sad there is limited choice in this area so I hope to find something better than this place. The workers weren’t too friendly either so they definitely could care less about your business.

Long time customer, but never again. The weekend crew couldn’t get my order right. When I got there, I had to wait for them to cook it for me. Then…they cooked me the wrong food. I usually spend $22-$30 for two people. This was $40, and I couldn’t understand why. Something got seriously lost in the translation and we took the hit, and ended up suffering for it. I am on limited budget, tried to explain that what I wanted only cost $30. But the lady wouldn’t give me the time of day, and told me to shop elsewhere. I will Jade Garden is the best, and that’s where I’m staying. Rude…

Although it’s a chain, Wok And Roll in Leland has the best Chinese food I’ve found close by. The staff is friendly and the food comes out fast and piping hot. Portions are generous, so you’ll likely have some leftovers, too!

We have been a long time customer of Wok and Roll. Last night we ordered Moo Shu Pork which was very good. The Egg Roll was also good, not greasy. The Sweet and Sour Shrimp was extremely disappointing. The shrimp were all dried out to the point that they didn’t taste like shrimp at all. Will never order that dish again. We hope that Wok and Roll gets some consistency in their food preparation. We actually stopped ordering for a over year because of this issue. Just started using them again. We want to support our small local businesses. But only so long as they can deliver quality food at a reasonable price. They have the pricing and delivery times right. Now it is time to get the food preparation right.
