The food and service at Wolfgang’s is consistently excellent. The food is not only delicious but it’s beautifully presented (pics). They have old and new world wines to pair with hearty dishes and you won’t feel rushed when eating. When the weather is nice sitting at the outside bistro bar or the outside seating is a treat.

Wolfgang’s has a great wine list and delicious menu prepared with great style. Most especially the wiener schnitzel which is prepared in the best European manner. A great location and never a disappointment!!

I’m not a food critic so I’m not going to go into great detail about the cuisine. I will say that I enjoyed everything that I tried and thought the atmosphere was intimate and romantic. The service was impeccable and I look forward to returning.

We were first ones to arrive, then room filled up. Everyone got food before us. They served the locals and ignored us. Food below par. The German plate was tasteless, the portobello mushroom was mushy served in a weird sauce. Even the Caesar dressing was odd, although the presentation was nice. Won’t be going back.

Celebrated a birthday dinner here. Everything was delicious! The venison tenderloin was excellent! Jackie is an outstanding host and made our experience special.

OUTSTANDING meal! Appetizer, mains, desserts, and drinks were all perfection. Service was the definition of southern hospitality. We sat on the covered patio and didn’t feel rushed, even as things got busier around us.

Best Restaurant. Three of us dined in 4 restarants over our 4 nights in the area. We dined at two in Highlands and two in Cashiers. Of the four restaurants Wolfgang’s is the only one where we all agreed that the meal was excellent. Now this is not to be confused with Wolfgang Pucks – they will be quick to tell you that there is no affiliation. According to the restaurant’s Website, this restaurant is owned and named after German-born chef Wolfgang Green’s whose career included serving as Executive Chef for the Brennan Family of Commander’s Palace in New Orleans.

This place really turned out to be a great surprise. My fiance and I were just spending a single night in Highlands and came to Wolfgang’s just by chance. Neither one of us were all that hungry, but that changed once we tasted our first appetizer. We sat at the little, 5 person bar, and had the full attention of the bartender that night, Lexi.

Perfect location right on the main strip. We stopped in between lunch and dinner rushes. They were supposedly full but had some empty tables. Certainly could be a staffing issue. We only wanted drinks and an appetizer / meal for a party of four. Low maintenance.

Delicious Easter brunch at Wolfgang’s. The set menu selection did not disappoint. My husband had a lamb which was enormous and filling. I had the duck in blackberry sauce over peas and risotto. Our meal was absolutely delicious as was the lobster bisque and bananas foster for dessert.
