I absolutely love this place! I get the turkey tips every time I come and they have never disappointed. Today, I got the chicken wings and mac and cheese. I tried the mac and cheese a while ago and I was not impressed. My sister in law said it was the absolute best so I decided to give it another go. Man, I’m so glad I did! It was absolutely and the cheese wasn’t overpowering. The chicken wings were delicious as well, but had a little too much sauce to my liking. Next time I’ll get it on the side. The staff was very welcoming and courteous. I can’t wait to try some of the other items on the menu!

Wonderful food!! Jamaican jerk wings are seasoned to perfection. My favorite appetizer is the fried green tomatoes lightly breaded and fresh high quality tomatoes. Employees are always delightful to work with and accommodating to additional need requests.

We were in town for a mini vacation and had a craving for some pulled pork sandwiches. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the super friendly staff. They made us feel very welcomed. The pulled pork was the most tender and juicy we have ever had. Don’t get me started on the macaroni and cheese . It was so creamy and delicious. Definitely stop by if you are in the area. Highly recommend!

Move over BD, there’s a new pit in town! They are doing it right at Wood N’ Hog in Champaign. I got the large BBQ tips with fries and their mixed sauce. Once I took my first bite I forgot all about getting a picture! Just means I’m going to have to go back and try again! Anyone who’s read my reviews knows I’m about cleanliness and Mike and his gang got that on lock down. Portions were big and the meat was perfect. Good smoke, juicy, and tender. Sauce was good as well but I felt it lacked the heat I was expecting so I’ll kick that up next time. My friend got the pulled chicken sandwich special which quickly took priority over our conversation, lol. There wasn’t a crumb left I noticed.

This is an amazing black owned business with awesome food and service. I came in for the first time today and so glad I did!! The jerk rib tips hit the spot, even got my mom a Togo plate!! I saw the fish come out and it looked amazing as well, will definitely try the fish next time. Do yourself a favor and check these folks out!
