Overall a good experience. As the bill shows I had pork chop. I really enjoyed. It had Smokey flavour but not burned. My friend had th half chicken. Was very complimentary about it. The wait staff over worked. I had 6 beers basically the entire menu. I liked them. Noisy but not buzzing. So simple food (expensive) but good draft beers.

This was a last minute choice for me but I’m happy I ended up having breakfast here. I had the steak and eggs. They have a house steak sauce which is delicious, it has a hint of horseradish. They also source most items locally including the cry baby Craig’s hot sauce. The venue is beautiful and they have 2 private dining rooms available for bookings. The manager Kristin is lovely and hospitable please stop by and tell her I sent you! Enjoy!

We stopped here on a whim after a Twins game last night and wow! The food, drinks, and service was great! The bartender and wait staff – while they were a small crew, they were on top of it! We started off with Fried Sunnies as an appetizer – amazing! We then ordered the 1/2 chicken dinner, Caesar salad and corn chowder. All Fabulous! I must say – the Caesar salad – I will dream about it, sooooo good! Good job, Chefs! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Food was pretty good. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The menu is very mushroom heavy but roughly $30ish per plate and half that for appetizers. Can’t say it wowed me enough to go back but it is a great location

Went for the first time before a theater production. Three of us all shred several of the small plates, all of which were delicious! The wild rice and mushroom croquettes, beets and goat cheese, rye flatbread, and brussel sprout were all outstanding. One of the best old fashioneds I’ve had in a long time, and that’s saying something from this Wisconsin guy. This is a must stop for any foodie in the area. We’ll be back!

We have been basically everywhere in MSP. My wife and I have lived downtown for more than 3 years. This place is a quiet gem. Cocktails are fantastic, and the food is 9/10 all the way around. I am surprised we haven’t been here yet, and we will return. The purposeful cooking deserves a try for all food enthusiasts. The chef does a great job balancing acidity and even spices with certain dishes. A must try. We did mushroom croquettes, goat cheese beets (kind of a salad), Brussels sprouts, and pheasant stroganoff (a must). Cheers!

I attended a company dinner here. We had a semi private room. A very nice place. Good food….I really enjoyed the Pig’s Face! Excellent cocktails and good wine list. The staff was excellent as well…..Especially Shane! He is a true Rock Star! Professional, helpful and passionate about his role. I would definitely come back!

Wood + Paddle, located in Minneapolis, offers a dining experience with a darker and quieter ambience, perfect for a relaxed evening or a quiet date night. The restaurant boasts a relatively simple menu that could offer a wider selection, but the dishes it does feature are bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. I particularly enjoyed the perfectly made butter burger, cooked to perfection and bursting with savory goodness. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the delicious handmade cocktails, which added a touch of sophistication to the overall experience. While I wished for a more extensive menu, I must admit that every item I tried was flavorful and satisfying. If you’re looking for a cozy atmosphere, flavorful dishes, and delectable cocktails, Wood + Paddle is definitely worth a visit.

One of the best restaurant meals I’ve had so far! We started with the Rye Flatbread, which was an incredible start. I had the rotisserie half chicken. The small details like the greens and pine nuts made the delicious chicken and potatoes even better! I hope I’ll have an opportunity sometime to visit again.
