Went here on the advice of a friend. Usually these older places that are off the beaten path, have some pretty great food, but this place was pretty hit or miss. The misses: The fried oysters were super greasy, and other than fried breading, had no flavor. The crab dip also suffered from lack of seasoning, and wasn’t hot. The steak and cheese also left a lot to be desired, but that’s on me for ordering a Philly sandwich icon, in Woodbine, Maryland LOL! The hits: The Wings were AWESOME! Big, juicy, and fried to perfection, liberally seasoned with Old Bay. Note that these are battered wings, which I don’t typically like, but these were done right. The potato salad was also great, my buddy ate two servings. The fries were good, and the fried chicken is legit. Atmosphere wise, it’s just an old local bar/restaurant, with lots of regulars. We sat at the bar, and while the bartender may not have smiled once, he gave excellent service. Would go back for the wings and fried chicken.

This was our first time here. The service was friendly and it was a neighborhood restaurant feel. The soft crab sandwich and platter we ordered was very greasy. The crabs looked good, but they were all sold out, so we didn’t get to try them. Maybe next time.

The restaurant was extremely busy that day, but still had pretty good service from our waitress. However, had to wait a very long time for my grandson’s food (cream of crab soup and mac and cheese). He is 3 and it was difficult to keep him occupied while waiting because he was hungry! We asked a few times about it.

Food was good, cozy atmosphere. Order arrived quickly. Service was okay. Waitress was busy and a little inattentive. Polite, but we had to flag her down several times for butter, refills and a to go box. One thing to keep in mind, there were no prices at all on the menu. Not just the seafood – nothing had prices and the waitress seemed a bit annoyed when we kept asking. Crab imperial was delicious!

First time here. Excellent broiled lump meat crab cakes. 6 ounces of deliciousness. Will stop again when in the area. Service was fast and efficient. Atmosphere was nice. Bathrooms clean. No WiFi.

I love this place. Best crabs around. I recommend highly. Order crabs before you get there and they come out fresh and hot.

I don’t eat out often because I also work in a restaurant. But my choice is always Woodbine Inn. I always get the stuffed mushrooms caps and a side salad. To die for. 5 stars in my book. Great service and a great atmosphere. And the best crabs. A winner

1st time I’ve been to Woodbine Inn, I am a seafood fanatic and at 45 years old finally got the Best crabs I’ve ever had at lunch. As crazy as this sounds…..2 people split 6 Large crabs, a pound of jumbo shrimp with crab soup starters and could hardly walk leaving because of being so full. I will be back
