This is a hidden gem. This restaurant has a great welcoming environment. My boyfriend and I ordered the rib eye steak meal. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. The food and service were excellent. We shall me coming back to this place again when we head this way.

This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Food is so ferociously delicious!!! Highly recommend, Nickel Burger, open face skirt steak sandwich, turkey sandwich is fresh chunks of real turkey OMG! But what I ALWAYS get when I come here is the Bay Shrimp salad. It’s loaded, and so bomb! I miss that they don’t add salad noodles anymore, but it’s still very, very good!!! And can’t forget the chocolate cake that comes with every order, it’s so moist and yummy!! Now the service: they get very busy so the service is slow on occasion but it’s so worth the wait!!! And all the staff are so friendly and nice and rushing around to ensure everyone is taken care of. This is a must try!

I got the French Dip sandwich and nickel burger. The French dip was amazing packed with favor. The Nickel burger has bacon, mushroom, avocados, and spouts. It was the best burger I tried in awhile. I tried my friend skirt steak and it was medium and very juicy. I will be returning to try more on the menu.

Best burger in Watsonville. I had the Nickel burger, very large, fresh, avocado. Nice fries. The coleslaw had a hint of pineapple, nice touch. My wife had the fried fish and prawns, generous portions, tasty. The place has a pleasant old timey vibe with interesting wall and ceiling artifacts. Pleasant and attentive server.
