One of the best burgers I have had in awhile. It was really good the smoked pork on the burger with cheese was almost to big to eat but was well worth it. I was not as impressed with the parm garlic fries. They were not bad but I would try a anouther flavor next time had a hard time tasting the flavor

Service was great. Atmosphere was great. For the food…the fries were great and the bacon I got on the cheeseburger was good…the burger though, it tasted like it was a frozen patty burger .

Classic small town bar/cafe atmosphere. Lots of locals there. Has a good selection of craft beers on tap. Ample food menu. Expanded food menu (9 pages!) available via QR code on small single page printed menu. Serve breakfast all day.

I didn’t get the name, but whoever was the server at night was awesome! I am a door dasher delivering food through the Wooden Nickel and other areas and he is so welcoming, friendly, understanding, and more! It’s so hard to come across people like him now days! Just amazing! Keep up the great work!

I travel all over the US, I stopped in on some downtime and I’ll tell you, the food is on point. Parm fries were very good and PB bacon burger would put it in my top 100. The bartender was friendly and place had a good vibe. Definitely check them out.

This was our first visit to the Wooden Nickel. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a draft beer. Also a Mushroom Swiss burger with parmasean fries and a Bloody Mary. Service was quick and friendly, food was great, Bloody Mary was excellent! Will definitely return when in the area.

The Wooden Nickel has never disappointed – the burgers and appetizers are great (try the fried pickles!!). I love the mix of dive bar and delicious food. It’s the one place we HAVE to stop every time we’re in Marshall. Hoping to hit the Saturday bingo one of these times too

Good burgers and fries was quite on Tuesday evening, perfect for a meal and chess match. Updated Review (Berty Review) Food great (Berty approved) Beer great, service super, and dog friendly patio (Berty five stars and thanks for the water!) Did I mention Chess, yes Southwest MN Chess Monday evenings, and Thursday at lunchtime! Update now on healthy Keto and I’ll have a Black & Bleu Burger with a side salad or just some lettuce no bun or fries needed. Still great while playing some chess.

This is a very nice place to grab a quick bite while if your like your waiting for a ride. I’m sitting right now on the patio over looking main St. I ordered a dubble cheese burger and that was so delicious and well prepared. And the location makes for breath takingly beautiful.
