Had a family dinner here with 7 of us on a Saturday. It wasn’t very busy but the server was inattentive and short with us. The appetizers were good, especially the duck wonton. Hands down best prime rib I’ve ever had in Northern MN. Food 5 stars, server 2 stars at best. Hopefully she was just having an off night.

It’s a quaint Northwoods restaurant/ bar that is a favorite with people in rhe area. The food is reliably excellent all the time, including their specialty, prime rib. They have live music once a month. It’s always congenial and fun to be there.

We’ve been stopping here for a decade plus on our snowmobile rides. Let me begin by saying that in the past few years, they got the spur/trail from the Taconite Trail to their bar fixed, so it gets groomed during the season now! Very smooth as opposed to before!
