So happy to have found this gem. The food was awesome. If you like barbecue, you’ll definitely be satisfied. They obviously use hickory or some type of wood chunks that give the meat a delightful flavor. You get the entree plus two sides and a drink for about 20 bucks; very affordable price for a meal. The ribs were tender & tasty. Baked beans reminded me of my own. And the collard greens were perfect. They will surely see me again.

Great taste and hospitality. They have a gigantic grill by the side. Smoked with wood . I enjoyed their ribs, chicken, and turkey leg. It was just a tad dry for my taste but enough for me to go back. I think the price is fair for the quality and the quantity. Visit and try for yourself and let you be the judge of this place!

I always get the best service and I love the rib tips with that special glaze. But you better make sure you call the order in cause the tips buy out pretty quickly. You really can taste the meat being smoked in every bite. I’m sure I’ll get around to trying other menu items and they will be just as good.

The ribs are cooked to perfection! Some people who don’t know BBQ think meat should fall off the bone when you look at it too hard, but these are tender and juicy. There are mounds of white oak outside and if you don’t want an overpowering smoky taste then you want white or post oak as they let the meat be the star of the show. The owners are terribly nice and friendly and go out of their way. If you want better BBQ then drive to Texas or Carolina and you’ll still be looking.

Haven’t eaten here yet– but when I came, they were sold out of ribs at the moment and the owner was working with a lady so that she could feed her family. I think that’s great customer service. They were kind. I wasn’t able to make it back that night, but if the food is anywhere near the service i witnessed/experienced— the 5stars will stay.
