I went to lunch on Friday August 19 as I was told they have the best French onion soup in Commack. After having it, let me tell you, I agree. The soup came out and the cheese was perfectly melted on top and was evena little burned which gave it a terrific crunch!

This is a great little place up the road from our house. We would always pass it and say “we have to try that place”. Well, we finally did! First off, it is very clean. We sat at the small table by the window (which is a usual place for dust and dirt to gather) an it was very clean! The bartender, who we think might be the owner, was very nice and attentive. He acknowledged us right away and made us feel welcome. The Guinness on tap was done. It was a very good pour. I ordered the steak sandwich and my husband ordered the chicken and waffles special. All the food was excellent. If I had anything negative to say it was that the fries could have used more salt – that’s it! We didn’t even finish our meal and we were already planning on coming back. We liked it a lot.

Popped in for a pint after shopping yesterday and so glad we did! We stayed much longer than we anticipated – mostly because of the bartender & other patrons at the bar with us. There are not many real “bars” left but this sure is. Conversation with the bartender and other patrons kept us there for a while & got us to try the wings which were AMAZING! Crispy, juicy and delicious. Don’t miss out on getting them. The Guinness was poured perfect. Will definitely be back again soon!

We stopped in for a burger as they were rated 4.5. We ordered a burger, medium rare and chicken wings. The burger was indescribable. It looked like left over from 2 days ago, well done and probably reheated. We asked for a slice of onion. What was brought to us looked like scraps from other peoples plates. Definitely do not recommend.
