Wanted to try a new place for BBQ and Wood’s Chapel did not disappoint! I loved being bless by John Lewis when I walked in. Talk about feeling welcome! Love the atmosphere and decor. Food was delicious but I think my favorite was the greens. Super friendly staff! We are already planning our next trip. Highly recommended!

Really solid spot for BBQ/grilled meat. We played corn hole for a while and sipped some expertly crafted cocktails. I’d highly recommend Wood’s Chapel BBQ for their outdoor seating on a beautiful day and for carnivores who love their grilled meat!

The staff is nice. Seating is well spaced, with outdoor options. I had the brisket grilled cheese sandwich and it was amazing. My husband ordered the smoked wings and they aren’t smoked. He was very disappointed. We would give the place another try.

The place was cool with a really sweet courtyard picnic area, I got the 2 meat sampler with chopped brisket and St Louis ribs. Brisket could have been more tender, but I’ll tell you those ribs were GREAT. Side dishes were very good, BEET Cole Slaw, Cream corn, and Mac & Cheese were on point. The BBQ sauces were lacking they have to work on those sauces, in my opinion. I’m looking forward to returning

First time trying out this bbq spot. They have a big portions. up to 15 a meal w potion is worth it. The food was not great today. I had some sticky pork ribs that were overcooked and burnt. the brisket was a little tough. the raspberry lemonade was just right! Will pay another visit and see how it goes

Fantastic food and . This place is on my weekly rotation. Go-to order is a pork sandwich with beans and mac, but everything else I’ve tried here is also really good. Great courtyard to eat outdoors if it’s nice out and plenty of seating inside as well. Very clean and well maintained restaurant. Highly recommend.

Overall really enjoyed my meal. Loved the vibe of the location and it’s super huge inside so a great place to meet friends for a lunch or dinner date. The brisket was really the star of the show. I’ll come back just for the sandwich of that. I liked the greens and the pork and beans w/ burnt ends were different, tasted more like chili rather than sweet like baked beans. The smoked chicken was ok. My husband enjoyed his ribs. I did enjoy the boozy frozen drinks as well. I would be back

I took away one star because of the price, 17.41 is just too much for a brisket sandwich and fries, I took away another star Because when they brought the sandwich and it didn’t have slaw on it it was going to be five dollars more, customarily barbecue should include slaw on the sandwich now if it’s a separate side that’s totally different, this is just my take,the proprietor (I’m assuming who that was) was very friendly, The girl who took my order was “okay” food was good I can’t say that. But 17.41? And that did not include a drink.

This is the worst BBQ I’ve ever eaten. We got ribs, macaroni, greens, and a pulled pork sandwich. The ribs were nasty and the BBQ sauce that came with it didn’t taste like BBQ at all. The macaroni wasn’t bad, but it was dry. The greens were horribly spicy and had a bad flavor overall, and the pork tasted old and flavorless. We ordered it to go and didn’t find out how bad everything tasted until we got back to our room. Had no choice but to eat it anyways. Huge waste of money. If you want a BBQ place with good food, I don’t recommend this one!

The food is incredible. I have been here twice and think it could be the best BBQ I have ever eaten. We tried all different sides and found each one to be delicious! The brisket is out of this world!!! The huge Summerhill parking lot is a block away so you don’t have to stress yourself with street parking! Run, don’t walk, to experience this incredible restaurant.
