If you want to enjoy some amazing BBQ, look no further than this gem of a restaurant. With great prices attentive friendly staff and a decor and atmosphere that will make you feel like you’re eating at your best friend’s mom’s house. Make sure to order the burnt ends for a starter. Highly recommend the Ribs and kielbasa combo!

This place is fantastic! Top quality food, friendly staff, and a gorgeous view on the drive here. The chicken wings are smoked, then fried & sauced, they are a must-try. I love the hot honey flavor but all are good. The BBQ offerings are excellent and so is the Mexican food!

This place WAS so good when I went there 15 years ago, and I was excited to finally get a chance to go back. Boy was I wrong, the place has gone way down hill, the food was disgusting at best, nachos came out on a small plate with canned refried beans, chips, microwaved with an unhealthy amount of cheese. The pulled pork was dry, and the salmon on my wife’s bagged salad complete with brown lettuce, was super fishy and both of our meals repeated on us for hours. So disappointing .

Used to be a favorite place but the last 5 or 6 years it has been hit or miss. Tonight was the last straw I understand they close at 9 but to turn the lights up like it’s last call at 2am was a bit too much. I have been a waitress for 30 years and if my guests are STILL EATING you don’t make them feel like you are pushing them out! I have waited HOURS for my guests to finish and relax not stand at the bar watching and turn up the lights! The bus girl was so rude, we felt like we were not welcome. On our to Woods we passed many restaurants who were extremely busy even at 8pm, next night out Woods will not be on our list

Overall good experience. Some of the side items we a little plane and needs some more flavor but the main dishes were all very good

Stopped by for dinner, sat in the bar area- atmosphere was not very inviting, not a smile in sight . Waited 35 mins for our appetizer and even longer for our meals in a dirty booth. Mac and cheese was room temp but had good flavor, ribs were quite dry, the coleslaw was the only item I truly found appetizing. Was unable to get the waiters attention for another drink, nor did she ever check in. Had to flag her down and tell her we found hair in the food, she apologized but did not offer an alternative, so I suggested another small portion of the mac and cheese. This seemed fair, and much better than returning the entire meal, which I should have done. Was given the mac and cheese and charged for it, when I politely asked the waiter to remove it from the bill I was told “I’ll see what I can do”. At this point I was pretty annoyed, I expressed my frustration, paid the bill, and left. Overall, the food was subpar, and this was by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. Very disappointing.

Super friendly staff. Waitress was great! Food was not very good. Only thing I’d eat again is the chicken. Wouldn’t go for Mexican portion of menu. Stick w bbq if you do venture out to this place. I’d be willing to give it another go if they did a revamp. Place is run down and wasn’t the cleanest.

Pulled Pork was barely que’d, rare, chewy, with little flavor – would have trouble identifying exactly what I was eating. Fries were standard packaged, fast food/frozen type. Cute place, but food was simply poor in every respect. Given Wood’s online reputation, eating there was a monster letdown.

This combo restaurant of half Mexican food and half BBQ is average. The salsa tastes like marinara sauce. Margaritas were very limey but alright. Try the BBQ food, much better!
