Wow, what a breakfast sandwich! Very cute shop, great food and coffee. Welcoming atmosphere – I wish so much they had an outdoor spot overlooking the river! My only complaint is that it was a bit chilly inside, but maybe that’s just me. This place is absolutely worth a visit!

I can’t recommend this place enough. The food, the drinks, the ambience. Woods and River has quickly established itself as one of the gems of Oil City. I love the fact that they source a lot of their ingredients locally. The previous coffee shop that resides here never seemed to truly find it’s identity, however it’s clear to see that this coffee shop has. They have tons of vegan and vegetarian friendly options, as well as food for those with other dietary restrictions. I always make a point to stop here when passing through the area! 10/10

Have been getting iced mochas and bagels here since they opened, and they are always very good. However, today I tried one of their breakfast sandwiches. Buttermilk English muffin with egg, cheese and bacon. It is literally the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had while dining out. Highly, highly recommend!!

We are traveling through and found this nice coffee house. Its not perfect like the rating suggests… but i suppose its the best place around these parts. Its worth stopping, but we all need improvement. My wife thought they had the best lattes. Sandwiches are tasty, but small and expensive. Bathroom is like a freezer. If im ever back in Oil City, i will come back, but lets be realistic with our ratings… we dont all need to get a participation trophy.

As soon as you step into this cute little shop, you get hints of all sorts or aromas (good, not bad). They have coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fountain drinks, muffins, and Clark’s donuts, but my personal favorite is their homemade soup and bagels with spread. They are so good! They make the soup fresh right there. They shop setup is beyond adorable, plus it has an amazing view of the Allegheny River. The workers and owners are super nice, and their prices are really good, as well. It’s one of my favorite places in Oil City, Pa.

Lovely little coffee shop on the river. Great food, great service. If you’re in the area, this is the place to go for your morning coffee and scone. You can order on line and just pick-up. So convenient.
