Customer service was excellent. Chicken was good. Pretty sure our potato salad had expired, it tasted fishy and terrible. Ribs were extremely dry…. think Sahara desert. Mac n cheese was more like buttered noodles. I would say yes to the chicken.. and stop there really. Pricey sides…. like $8 for a pint of beans. The beer selection looked pretty good.

Great BBQ. I had the brisket and ribs plate for lunch. Brisket was awesome, ribs were really good. I had the homemade potato chips and beans as sides. Nothing special about those but still slightly above average I suppose. Service was a bit slow considering BBQ is precooked overnight. But the meat made up for it!

Thank you Windowsill BBQ for a catering a wonderful end of the season volleyball banquet for the Lafayette Lancers. The food arrived fresh, warm, moist and delicious. The salad was a huge hit, the dressing is a not too sweet complement to the greens and pecans. The chicken had a great smoked flavor and pulled pork is always melt in your mouth. Also I never have to worry about having enough food for all from you guys. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

The food is always amazing, but the service is above & beyond! I thought I lost my wedding ring in the buttery, seafood trash at my table. The whole crew searched the restaurant & the owner even contacted me about the situation. In the end my ring was safe at home, but they were prepared to help if need be!

The ribs were good. Lost a star because they were out of brisket. Service was good. Atmosphere was great: quiet, great music that wasn’t so loud you couldn’t hear conversations. We’ll go back.

I came in to grab carryout Corned beef and cabbage for St. Pat’s. It was some of the best I’ve ever had, but I doubt I will ever be back. It was super expensive for one and the guy working behind the counter was overzealous and just plain rude. I decided to grab a beer to go and didn’t complain when he carded me. But when he laughed in my face and said he knew the ID, I couldn’t believe his arrogance. Just because I have an IL license does not mean it is a fake… even after I showed him my credit card with the same name, he still said it was a fake. I really doubt someone under 21 would place an overpriced order for $18 just to get one beer. Luckily the manager/supervisor straightened it out. He did apologize, but if you’re going to try and be super strict with carding all IDs, you need to be darn sure you can spot the difference between a fake and a real one. Instead of catching someone underage, you just lose customers with false accusations. Maybe this customer service is why I was the only one there at noon on St. Pat’s day.

My husband and I just came from there Sunday for lunch, very disappointed. Table was dirty, young college or highschool kid was our waiter, only one young kid making our order, never got order correct after sending it back twice. Everything was cold and very dry, I got pulled pork, and onion straws, all cold. My husband got turkey Cobb, after messing up order first time just like mine, second wasn’t any better. We hated to pay for something that was sub standard, but we did, but will never go back! Extremely Dissatisfied!

Have eaten at Woodsmoke previously, but this time I was very disappointed. My wife tried to call in an order while I went to get it. First call she was put on hold/ignore for a long time so she tried to call again and it went to voice mail. When I arrived there were several people in the order line and the register/order gentleman seemed stressed. The only other people there was the chef and a bussboy. When I got to order we found out there were out of the cornbread, which my wife wanted, and it was only 5:30 on a Saturday. When I got home with the food my smoked beef sandwich was about 30 to 40% fat. I got the feeling they gave me this poor cut since it was a carry out. NOT GOOD!!

Went on a Saturday for dinner they were already out of most of menu items my chicken was overdone and dry my girlfriend was still Half raw was going to get a bottle of water luckily I use the restroom first to find the bottled water stored in the men’s Room when we complained about the chicken we were told that’s just how it was served and would not replace it. Did not know That barbecue sauces or on the side that is the reason I do not go to bandannas I prefer my barbecue sauce cooked on my barbecue the way God intended!!! Only had one kind of dessert left all the other window sill pies were sold out menuu prices were reasonable for over cooked or raw barbecue !! Definitely would not recommend I will not be back!!!!!!!
