WooRi Jib is an amazing small Korean restaurant! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the host and seated, it was the first time I’ve been to a Korean Restaurant so I had a some questions picking out since everything was completely new to me but the waitress was very kind and gave me some recommendations on foods I should try! I ended up going with the Fried Dumplings as the Appetizer and the Pork Tonkatsu as the Main Dish as you can see in the photos attached in my review! To my surprise as well you get a large amount of side dishes that can be refilled at no cost upon request too which really stresses the value you get for your buck. Getting to the food I ordered the Fried Dumplings were really delicious and had really good flavor and the dipping sauce it came with really added to the flavor! I highly recommend trying it! Now the Pork Tonkatsu was also really good, the Pork was cooked beautifully, it was crispy on the outside since it is breaded, but the pork on the inside was really soft and delicious! And it wasn’t dry like some other places I’ve gone to in the past that overcook the pork to the point where its too tender. The Pork Tonkatsu also comes with a Fried Egg Over Rice and Cabbage with a really good dressing on top which I forgot to ask about, it also comes with its own dipping sauce that I also recommend trying too!! Again I highly recommend trying out WooRi Jib if your around the Ellicott City/Baltimore Area! In addition the waiters were very attentful as it started to get busy around dinner time since it was Friday (6/30)and always checked in with me and the other tables if we needed anything! Overall I really enjoyed dining at this restaurant, the amazing service and I will definitely be coming back again!

A very friendly and welcoming restaurant. 8 different banchan dishes arrived that ranged from mild to spicy. Seafood pancake was delicious, came out hot and crispy. Ordered the beef rib in broth that was a little salty but otherwise cooked to where the meat fell off the bone and the broth had been simmering for quite a long time to meld all the flavors. Service was excellent. Orders arrived very quickly, water was replenished immediately, waitress chatted up our table, etc. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.

We’ve gotten take out from here twice now! Both times it was REALLY GOOD. We tried the Dolsot Bibimbap and the Kimchi-jjigae (A kimchi and pork belly stew) and both were delicious. The stew especially was the right amount of spice and meat. They even packed a bunch of sides to go for us!

Wife liked their Tansuyok before so she wanted to come again after running in the Baltimore 10 Miler. Well, so much for the best made plans. The ownership changed about 4 months ago so they changed the menu. The Tangsuyok didn’t make the cut. So we looked over the new menu and just tried the things that we normally eat. The food was really good. The pork cutlet Tonkatsu was really tasty for my big boy. The fish was crispy without being over fried. The only thing, if I had to say was so so, was the soup that came with the fish combo. It wasn’t bad, but I felt it was a bit on the watery side. I prefer my soup like my women – thick. Lol, just kidding. Wife gonna kill me but I couldn’t resist. But the soup was on the watery side. Perhaps a little more potatoes or starch? The Dolsot BibimBop was really good. Really love those stone bowls. The food sizzles and remains hot throughout the entire meal. Anyway, the service was great. They had 2 young men serving all the tables. They were very polite and attentive. Yes, it was a nice lunch.

First time here recently for lunch. They give a good variety of delicious “ban chan” (complimentary sides)! The LA Galbi (short ribs) was so DELICIOUS and well marinated/flavored!!! Also tried the Gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup)—that was just okay, not as flavorful as I would like, and the broth was liquidy.

What a gem of a place! Most Korean restaurants have very focused menus but this place has such a great range and everything is so good. The food and portions make me feel like I’m at home .

Waiting staff are nice and responsive, but the foods were not that great. Seven of us entered the restaurant and order several dishes including main Bulnak Jungol to share. None of us were satisfied, especially with Jungol. It was too fishy as if main ingredient was not cleaned thoroughly. We complaint to the waiting staff, and the chef showed up a few minutes later and insist that there’s nothing wrong with Jungol and that’s how the dish supposedly taste.

I lived in Korea for 3 years. I was craving an authentic family like style Korean food. The vibe and food here was everything I craved. Had seafood pancake, spicy galbi tang and my husband had dolsot galbi bimbimbab.
