Their upside down oysters were the best oysters we had during this trip to New Orleans! They were so good that we sped over there the next day for 18 more. And the gator sausage is BOMB!! More importantly, Braxton, John Tyler, and Armand were amazing, kind, and made the best suggestions on what we should have. We also didn’t have to wait long for our food.

Food was quite good. Did not have to wait super long. Went on a Monday. Waited maybe 25 min for food. Got the seafood platter and bbq shrimp. Both were pretty good. Shopping at the French market made me hungry and this place really hit the spot.

Avoid at all costs. We ordered 2 po boys here and it costed me $42. Not only the worst sandwich but honestly the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. This was genuinely the biggest rip off I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant and I’m absolutely shocked that it’s even in business.

I ordered the swamp platter. It took forever to come out. The guys behind the counter spent most of the time on their cell phones. The frog legs were extremely salty to where I couldn’t eat them. The crawfish and rice was ok. There has to be better places around for good Louisiana food.

BE READY TO WAIT!!!! Yikes this spot was super busy. Had to wait for 20+ minutes for some vegetarian red beans and rice. I stopped by the shop and picked up some seasoning for my veggies. I thought I could at least take the Cajun vibes back to Dallas. Something like a no salt bae!

I try to be fair but this place is just sad. Got a shrimp po boy for close to 20$ and…. I mean just look at the picture. And it’s rly not just the amount but even these sad few shrimp were already p cold (after a long wait despite it not being super busy) and mostly flavorless. All that thrown on some dry bread and that’s about it. No sauce whatsoever, just a v generous pickle slice.

If you’re looking for gumbo, cajun rice, or a beef poboy, this is not it. My husband’s seafood gumbo was cold and didn’t have any seafood. The cajun rice was bland and almost cold. I don’t know where to begin with this beef poboy. If you’re not getting oysters, my husband said they were really good, don’t waste your time in that long line.

Bland bland bland. They should honestly change their name. The shrimp was mediocre, and the gumbo was bland, luke warm and rice was sticking together. Would no recommend.

Had the Swamp Platter and Oysters, and everything was delicious and full of spice. Nothing was overly hot and spicy, but had incredible flavor. The oysters and crawfish were so good. Blackened catfish was delicious too. Took a little while to get out food, but worth the wait. Plenty of seating and shopping around.
