A friend recommended this place and I’m so glad he did—this was a hidden gem I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Basically a little shack on the creek, come here for an amazing sunset and fantastic food. I had the fried seafood platter and while everything was amazing, the scallops were the highlight. If I had had room I would have ordered more. I got the banana pudding to go and it was also incredible. Will definitely be back.

Two words: Worth it! This is a unassumingly great spot for fresh shrimp and local catches. I have learned that if a place is known for their fried fish/shrimp options, you absolutely need to get it fried. We arrived around 4:45pm on a week day and there was already a few cars in the lot with people anxiously waiting. By 4:55 there was a line of about 15-20 people. They will let you in at 5pm on the dot and get you seated quickly and right to business. I’d say we were there about 45 minutes and when we left it sounded like the wait was 20 minutes, which really isn’t much longer than we waited by getting there before they opened. Lots of history and a unique and charming experience. Definitely recommend.

Ok, here it is. If you expect valet and white gloves, move along. If you want great seafood surrounded by fishing boats and docks, park and stay.

Can’t think of a more perfect place. Food is amazing, service was great, and it’s been consistently great for many years. Great to come back to Charleston time after time and eat here. And those boiled peanuts!

Not what we expected. We usually hit the other side of the creek, but my husband wanted to try something new.

Great “hole in the wall” restaurant on the ‘creek’ that treats you like family. Food menu is small but DELICIOUS!
