Everything was delicious. Best beef samosas I’ve ever had and the hot sauce pairs with them perfectly. Their chai tea is flavorful. I had the karanga ng’ombe with ugali and fried cabbage. Everything was prepared well and tasted phenomenal. Service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and offered assistance and suggestions when ordering.

Like many African restaurants, there’s little in the way of frills when it comes to decor. But, don’t let that fool you. The food is amazing, and the portions of it are generous.

I had some of the best Kenyan food here. The owner and the servers were very welcoming. The food was cooked to perfection, prices were great, and everything was just amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. And thanks to the manager for throwing in a little treat of samosas (that were very delicious) for my sister and I before we left.

Delicious! Got the fried fish in coconut sauce, so good. Enough dinner for two with sides. The pilau is super flavorful and has meat in it too. Also tried the Karanga Mbuzi and that totally checked out. Plantains, greens and kabeji we’re mild and cooked just right.

I hate to only give this place three stars, as the proprietor was very friendly and helpful. But there just wasn’t much flavor to my vegetarian combo meal. The seasoning of the cabbage dish (not bad unto itself) and the beans in coconut milk (pretty much just tasted like coconut milk) weren’t enough to match the blandness of the chapati and ugali.
