X Mark’s the Spot Bar & Grill opened in 2008 on Stenton Avenue in West Oak Lane and quickly became Philly’s favorite place to mix and mingle with the grown & sexy. We operated under a different name when we first opened, but it has been called X Mark’s the Spot since 2015. We have a first floor bar with stools and a few tables and chairs for those who prefer to sit at a table. In addition to the first floor bar, we have a second floor bar area with stools, a pool table, and stools around the perimeter of the room. Known for it’s good food, energy, fun, music, and welcoming staff, X Mark’s the Spot is THE place to go to chill, watch a game, have dinner or to plan your next party.

“X MARKS THE SPOT” FOR EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE! I waited over an hour for a slab of ribs & they were not crowded. In all fairness, the ribs & collards were good. The mac & cheese, not so much. I will not go there again.

This was my first time going here and I had an awesome experience. The bartender Linda is super a tentative and really nice has a great personality. I met some of the other barmaids they came in I guess before their shift they were nice as well. The drinks were awesome on Tuesdays they have a mussels and Long Island tea special. They are $5 a piece and the mussels are to die for I love mussels and I will definitely be going back. The drinks were good as well they also have dollar shrimp fried or sauteed, I love the fried. I will definitely be returning.

Used to be called Sonny’s. I and my mom and sister had been going there for years. My favorite spot to get ribs and my favorite barbecue sauce in the world. Wish I had the recipe to that sauce. Always have been treated very well.

The male bartender(sorry forgot his name) was very nice, sociable, and made a very,very nice rum punch. I let 2 other ppl taste it ( a stranger who had great vibes ♀️ & my friend) & they ordered one as well. The drinks were reasonably priced & strong. My bestie lives nearby & picked this spot for a quick drink. I was skeptical about the area, but genuinely enjoyed myself & may return.

Nice neighborhood bar… drink specials that go a little later so you can enjoy a nice happy hour… food is always good each time I go and sometimes they have a dj but mostly just the jukebox

Mature, fun and responsible, adult atmosphere. A welcoming and relaxing space for after work. Staff are both friendly and customer-service oriented. The generous portions of savory food are amazing and filling and very reasonable in pricing. Definitely a top ten for the return visits.

Very nice atmosphere. They definitely had better cooks than the last proprietors. Their cole slaw was very good as well as the potato salad. They have very good looking servers and they are friendly and very attentive. I’ll go back for some drinks and food.
