Amazing food and service. Probably the best Latin resteraunt in Central Oregon. Fresh corn tortillas and superb mescal margaritas. Plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options

I was so impressed at the freshness of the tuna tostadas and the ceviche. The flavor and textures of the tostadas and ceviche are excellent. The best ceviche I’ve ever had and my husband said the shrimp tacos are the best he’s ever had.

We needed to be out of the house for a bit and wanted to try someplace new for dinner. Xalisco caught my attention because it’s 4.8 stars but there was this really detailed 1 star review from a week ago which had some (I thought) dumb complaints. So we had to check it out.

Loved the food and service! Also, they had a baby changing station in the restroom, and for mom with little littles, it’s so helpful!

The skirt steak was amazing. Watch those chili’s- spicy!!!! The skirt steak salad was a good balance for my belly. The octopus was so nice better than toro bravo in Portland before they closed and that’s saying a lot. We loved the margarita ( fresh ones are not sweet/ sugary). Wish we had a place like this near our home.

The service was great considering my poor Spanish lol, the server was attentive and polite, the dishes looked beautiful and appetizing. Elevated Latino food in Redmond!

I work in walking distance to Xalisco. I recommend dining here to EVERYONE. I have not heard one person say they got less than they paid for; in fact, it’s the opposite. I hear a lot of talk about this restaurant. Never once have I heard a negative comment.

This is a busy place with both inside and outside seating. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The 4 of us each ordered something different and all were delicious. After eating there, I understand why they list themselves as Latin Food rather than Mexican (which many expect to be Tex-mex) as the food is more traditional. There is really no decor, but that’s not what we went there for.

Hands down, this is the BEST Latin / Mexican food in Central Oregon. If you are looking for an authentic, more healthful, non-“Americanized” experience, you have to eat here. Located close to the Redmond airport in an unassuming, small shopping center, you would expect this type of restaurant to be in bustling downtown Bend or Redmond, but what’s nice is it’s out of the way, and so worth the drive to get there. It does get busy, especially now that more people are becoming aware of it, not to mention the devoted regulars (like me!). We’ve tried most of the menu items, but our favorites are the tacos (served with house-made corn tortillas), any of their salads, fresh guacamole, and their appetizer Pulpo a las Brasas (grilled octopus). Try it!
