I have been going to XenGo quite regularly for 8+ years with my family. And we always were satisfied with service and food, except maybe when I tried Pho which was blunt. This is not my favorite sushi place, but I order sushi from time to time.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but our visit to XenGo was the worst Asian restaurant experience I’ve had. The server was not friendly or knowledgeable about the menu. The food was expensive, extremely bland, and came in small portions. The greatest offense had to be the hibachi chicken, which was just a small pile of blandly cooked chicken with bowls of steamed vegetables and flavorless rice on the side. Any cheap Chinese takeout restaurant would be better than this place for half the price.

After eating here a few weeks after they opened and not finding it very good, I decided to give them another chance on April 5, 2022. Being by myself I asked for a quiet corner. After seated I wasn’t waited on. After returning to the front desk the server appeared, apologized and I ordered. Thought maybe I was seated in a section with no servers (very few people were here at the time…and it was a Tuesday.)

I have been ordering here for 4+ years and I get the same exact thing every time, they have gone completely downhill in the last year or so. The past 5 times I have ordered, 3 out of 5 times they got my order wrong. I order vegetable rolls because I have a fish allergy and I tell them that each time I order, they have sent me home with not only the wrong rolls, but fish rolls in with my vegetable rolls so the taste is completely ruined & tainted with fish aroma. Today I ordered a southern roll and they sent me home with a spicy tuna roll. I called and got a refund, but I am very upset because I was looking forward to the southern roll all day. Despite loving some of the items on the menu I don’t think I’ll be eating here again due to the negligence of allergies and requests.

Enjoyable. Really attentive server, considerate of my wife’s gluten allergy. Booths are way too tiny for a person of size. Opt for a table. Sushi was good. Oh, if you use the gf menu and order salmon bok choy, ask for rice bc it doesn’t come with it. Recommended.

I ordered 3 sushi rolls and this was absolutely awful. Dry tuna rolls as a “Chef’s Special Roll” that’s $15. Sauces wrong or missing. I’ve tried this place 2x, both in person and delivery. Both were bad and won’t be back. Extremely overpriced vs what you get.

We ordered food to pick up, so we didn’t eat in the restaurant, but this place has the most authentic Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine in the area. The food is very fresh and the portions are big!
