Stopped at this sushi spot for a early dinner. Ordered the Tiger Roll, Crunch roll. My girl friend ordered a roll of the Philly roll. Both my rolls were amazing, however the Philly roll was different. It had some kind of salsa mixture in it. Soon as we tasted we knew something was off, we just couldn’t put our finger on it. We thought that maybe it was the salsa. We didn’t finish the roll, few hours later my girlfriend who ate most of the Philly roll was violently sick. Pretty much spent the in the bathroom. We hadn’t eaten before or after so that funky taste was not the salsa but bad sushi. We might give it another shot cause the other 2 rolls were amazing but for now just 2 starts

Worst service ever. I usually love eating at Xevichez, I typically go to the Sylmar location. Decided to try their Valencia location because I was in the area, and because of the service their I don’t think I’ll try them again. Might not even go to the Sylmar location. It took 15 minutes before we were even helped for our drinks. Finally ordered our food and then it took another 40 mins for us to get our appetizers. While other people who got their after us were getting their food. We canceled our order and left. They were not really that apologetic either and didn’t seem to care that we didn’t get our food or were leaving. Didn’t try to make up the fact that we didn’t get our food. Worse service ever.

Food was good, this certain day I order a scallop roll and a octopus roll not sure the exact name they had it in their menu but they had different names to them, the point is that they were both good. My girl had order some stir fry noodles with shrimp which I’ll definitely order again noodles were on point and stir fry was tasty. Also the beer itself was nice and cold, I had order two draft Sapporo. Service was excellent, they were attentive all the time we were there, talkative and friendly, our sever down to the manager were all welcoming. They also have a playlist of music playing in the background, the staff said they played a mix this certain day and time they were playing norteñas. I’ll definitely recommend anyone to try this place out and I’ll for sure be visiting soon again

I have always enjoyed it here, but the last two visits the quality has been poor. I ordered oysters and literally don’t see them in the shell. The same rolls I always order had a very strange taste. Service was poor and the music is way too loud. Unfortunately two times back to back is enough for me to find a new go to
