Food was excellent! We had chips and queso for an appetizer. Tried the birria tacos . They were . Also had midwest tacos and a steak taco. Steak taco was my wife’s favorite. It had a delicious sweet flavor. I liked the birria tacos best. Midwest tacos came in last. Good but not as the other 2. Can’t wait to try a new flavor! Highly recommend

First time trying Xolo in downtown. I got the birria tacos & my husband got a few of the tacos w/ some chips and salsa to share. I asked for no cheese and had to send it back. The food was fine. It wasnt very flavorful & the salsa was like a generic salsa from the grocery store. For the cost unsure if we will come back.

Came here for the first time today and omg it is to die for. Our waitress was so nice and on top of it. The Birria dip is phenomenal! The margaritas are some of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back!

Poor Management skills. They were out of alcohol, and were really only able to make Margaritas . They were also out of napkins, plates came to the table wet. Kitchen staff kept peeking out of the kitchen window. We called the restaurant on Monday to inform them there would be a group of about 10. Once we arrived they were not prepared at all. However the waitress Jackie was Amazing she did the best she could to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you

Waitresses were good, atmosphere was cool, but the food was not so good. I was expecting a lot better. They charge you for salsa and chips. The queso tasted exactly like the stuff you get from meijers in the chip section. My taco salad was flavorless, I had to add salt. Overall, I’m not impressed considering the high rating.

Food was overall tasty, sizeable portions, really liked being able to mix and match various tacos, crunchy shell is the best. Our server Roy was very personable and attentive. Parking is limited but free streetside parking after 5p.

Ordered a large takeout order from this location. Really like the location in Fenton so was looking forward to the birria tacos, of which we had five orders. All were extremely overcooked. Thankfully we had the consume’ because they are were dry, with the cheese on the outside so burnt it just fell off the tacos. The elote was good. But this was very disappointing. Better options in flint.

The Birria is amazing every time. Probably the best tacos in Flint but definitely one of the most expensive too.

Awful experience. We got to the restaurant around 8:30. A girl came over to our table who wasn’t our waitress to tell us their kitchen closed in 20 minutes. So we ordered asap. Our waitress was very slow and the bartender ended up bringing our drinks over, which took awhile. There was nobody in the restaurant but one other table. We ordered 2 quesadillas and 2 tacos. When the other waitress brought out our food, I told her we had 2 quesadillas. Our waitress came over and apologized, that is was her fault she only put in one but that their kitchen is closed now. I thought that was odd, it wasn’t our fault so you would think they would make another one. We ended up having to share food. Then after a long while of her not checking on us, I needed napkins ,which were never on the table, and extra sour cream. She told me she can’t give me sour cream because their kitchen is closed. I had no words. This was my first time here and will never be returning. The tacos tasted like cardboard and the service was horrible.
