Not quite as good as it once was, but a good experience. My steak was cooked correct, my wife’s salmon on a cedar plank was beautifully done. The sides were fine, the waitress was friendly, the atmosphere is always chill. Will def be back.

Was a mixed bag. Old timey feel with really nice ambiance. Really clean place also except for the men’s bathroom. Service was super courteous. The problems started when I tried ordering the fried shrimp as an appetizer and was told it came as a meal only. Where I come from, the customer gets what the customer wants. The end goal in any business is to make money. Then the wait started for our steaks to arrive. I’ve never had to wait an hour for food in my life. However we did. At least they acknowledged our unbelievable wait time and reduced our tab. That’s why I’m still giving them 4 stars.

As most, I do not typically write a review unless a place is really good or really bad. We are at the Yadkin Valley Steakhouse this weekend for my father’s birthday. We waited about 40 minutes after being told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. We sat down and our drink orders were taken almost immediately but took about 15-20 minutes to arrive. We placed our orders and waitress had to come back twice to less us know they were out of rice and mashed potatoes. WHO runs out of rice?! The steaks were too expensive for the flavor and taste and would not recommend to those who enjoy a decent steak. Our waitress was super nice but very forgetful either from being over worked (understaffed) or just not being great at being a waitress. The place was half empty with most having to wait over 30 minutes.

I’ve been three times now, and every time at least one steak needs to be sent back. The atmosphere is great, but they really need to improve the lighting in there, it’s terribly dark and hard to see. But the staff is top notch and the steaks are good.

Enjoyed New Orleans Broil seasoning on sirloin for 2. It’s was cooked perfectly. Loved the wine service and our waitress was fabulous.

Food is so good. Much better experience compared to many years ago under former owners. The best sauteed pound cake for dessert you will ever have! Food was great. Service was great. No complaints.
