Came in for Sushi and Soup and a couple beers. Used to live in Pawleys and always remembered how good the food was. Upon entering I asked how long they would be open due to the incoming storm was rudely told (this is paraphrased she went on a bit of a tirade) by a server/host “we’re gonna close soon order now if you want something” my server however was a breath of fresh air very kind and good to converse with. I ordered the miso soup and while I ate that I looked at the menu and drank my beer. After ordering sushi and waiting it arrived it looked delicious! I asked for a napkin to spit out my gum. While waiting for my napkin I looked down at my sushi and there was a cockroach with sauce drizzled on it. I told the staff and asked for my check. They comped my meal and I was on my way. My server apologized profusely. Probably will not be back. Please do better Yagi, you have dropped the ball.

This was really terrific sushi. Really terrific. We enjoyed our dinner using the take out opportunity and we were not sorry. The plates were well marked so the carefully prepared sushi trays did not turn into a guessing game at the dinner for four of us. We are vacationing on South Pawleys and this location was close, easy and well prepared.

Very nice place with plenty of affordable options. I absolutely love the tofu poke bowl. I was pretty nervous because I never tried it. To my surprise, it was very good vegetarian option that I would recommend to others. Table and bathrooms were cleaned; just some sand on underneath the table but it right near the beach which is great 😀 no complaints!

Pork belly lettuce wraps are generous on the pork belly and great texture and flavor. Very happy we stopped here. I’m not a sushi guy, but my partner loved her rolls. White peach sake is gentle and perfect for a mid day drink. Service was great and informative.

Best hibachi I’ve had in a while . I live in North Carolina so this was so good for me and my family. I order 10 kids meals chicken & shrimp. Every ones food was Hot and delicious the whole family enjoyed.
