Exploring Ginger
Customer service is phenomenal, all the people are very nice and super helpful. Not to mention they recommend any of their bowls and you can choose all of one or up to 3 different variations for your bowl choices. For me, there could’ve been a bit more seasoning and my favorite has to be the beef.

Unassuming place with deep, warming flavors. This restaurant, with the scent of curry filling the air as you open the door, is a local delight. The rice bowl is inexpensive and filling, and the combinations available (you can pick three flavors) are amazing. Service is fast and orders are taken at the counter. Only issue I had was that the Diet Coke was out when I went. Try the leek and potato soup and the salad, too – you won’t be disappointed here.

We love this place we come here often, there’s always families with children talking and enjoying their food. The food here is amazing the only reason I gave it for stars instead of 5 is because the spices could be more intense that I’m sure they do that for other peoples pallets. Totally recommend this place and check out the Alaskan photographs on the walls.

Nice service and atmosphere. Disappointed with two things with the food. One, the garbanzo beans were “raw” and not cooked as thoroughly as I’ve eaten or expected. Maybe some like garbanzo beans harder versus softer. Two, surprisingly, the food needed salt and could have used more spice.

Very inexpensive but very good. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked the options and the ability to mix and match. There are great vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. And the service is nice and very fast. I think the ticket delivery system was very fun and innovative.

This has got to be one of my favorite places in anchorage. Its fast, affordable, and everything is just so good. I tried the iced coffee today with my rice bowl and house salad and ill definitely be getting another one next time.

By far the best anchorage option for a quick lunch or casual meal. You simply get the most bang for your buck with their rice bowls. They typically fill the bowl to an amount you always think you can take down but struggle to finish. Amazing tastes and flavors and the employees are far too kind. Owner as well is an awesome dude. My go to spot and a wonderful community, atmosphere, and most importantly menu. My swag meal recommendation is as follows, the shapta rice bowl with yam tikka masala, Channa masala, and a cookie dough brownie (or two ). Swing by if you have never tried, and see if it’s your new fav spot as well.
