Make sure you visit the upstairs location of Yalla Motek, as I initially went to the bottom one which is not kosher, just kosher-style. Once inside the upstairs spot, I was in for an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious, transporting me straight to the flavors of Israel. As a designer, I couldn’t help but notice and appreciate the attention they put into their branding – it’s evident even on their bags.

Waiting in line people in front of me were complaining about receiving the wrong order. Counter staff seemed to resolve the issue. I ordered a Falafel and an Eggplant & Egg both on Jerusalem bread. After waiting in the line, which is very disorganized, received 2 sandwiches. Completely wrong sandwiches after opening them. Gave the sandwiches a try but this place really lacked any spice or flavor. I’d skip it next time

Ordered the chicken sandwich, opened it as soon as they handed it to me and the bread was soggy and wasn’t as authentic as a chicken shawarma as I was expecting. $15 dollars for JUST a sandwich is a bit pricey as well.

Got disappointed when I ask the employee if the chicken shawarma cooked same way as the lamb machine he kept saying yes it’s in the back blbla and after ordering it they used the grill just not rotisserie machine. Flavor of it was bad don’t order the chicken but lamb was good
