Best BBQ ever! We had the Texas Spud (heavenly and abundant) and the 2 meat plate. My husband couldn’t believe how much meat was in his meal! The Texas Spud was so large that I could only eat half of it, but I was happy to have leftovers. The owner, pit man, and server were all super friendly, and several regulars told us that it was the best BBQ in Tyler!

Cannot believe I’ve never hit this place up before!! Been to Pat Gees many times, as well as a Hickory Hill, but this might just be the best of “the golden triangle of Texas BBQ”!! The only thing that’s better than the food is the people that work there! All the their meats are incredible…..well worth the trip!

Had a great experience with this food this past Saturday. We had no complaints about the barbeque it was tender and flavorful.I had a rib sandwich that was excellent and a child in my party had a chopped beef that she ate and finished. Also the desserts looked amazing and she had the brownie and loved it. It’s so layed back there and I like it.

I’m a huge fan of local grub – and this place is as local as it gets! It’s right off the highway in a little neighborhood. The staff was super friendly and funny, and the food was amazing! They recommended a loaded baked potato with smoked meat and barbecue sauce – so far it’s been one of the best meals I’ve had down in the south! They have picnic tables in the back for eating and sodas for purchase. This is exactly what I wanted in finding a local place!
