The restaurant had a great atmosphere. Kinda a futuristic Japanese themed. We dealt with a variety of staff members and all were very friendly and helpful. Our food came out fairly quick and most of it was very good. A few of the dishes were extremely small portioned and some others were very bland, while others were excellent! Our only complaint was the cooks (at least that’s who we were told) missed a few of our orders. But the waitress made up for it when we mentioned that. Very good ALL you can eat place! We will be back again soon!

We did the all you can eat. Food was really good and really fast service. The waiters were also very good. It is 30.99 for the all you can eat dinner, however they add an extra fee if you pay with card. The fee is added to your dinner so you also will pay a food tax on using your card. The receipt had 2 totals, one if you use a card and one if you pay in cash. It’s about 3 dollars more to use a card. I liked the food and no complaints about the service, and maybe I’m the only one that thinks that the price is already in the cost of what you pay and to add the fee on at the end seemed annoying, and to be taxed for it also seems shady. Most restaurants don’t charge an extra fee to use a card.

So family and I went to this here restaurant and did the buffet. The service was decent. Server had a smile on his face and was great. However the food’s taste was lacking. The food seemed to be missing flavor. The atmosphere was great the orange on black was easy and pleasing on the eyes.

Absolutely amazing food! Normally we get there around noon when they open and the service is good but today we went at 1:45 and the service was not very good! Our waitress was taking lunch while we were there and nobody else covered for her. I was a little surprised by this! We will go back again and hope it is better! Bring cash, an additional fee is added for cards.

Wow! What a fantastic new restaurant for Saint Cloud! The sushi was fantastic and my husband isn’t a fan of sushi (or veggies) so they were able to accommodate that and do their beef fried rice with no veggies. Everything was delicious! The green tea ice cream was also super tasty! The service was top notch and the price is great. They even have lunch special prices!

Ate at Yamato for the first time tonight, and overall it was a great experience. Super happy St. Cloud finally has an all you can eat sushi place. Many people are probably familiar with Kyotos in Maple Grove/cities area, so I’ll compare this place to them. Price wise they are about the same ~$30 for dinner and ~$20 for lunch. Food wise the quality is also about the same, but what takes this place up a notch for me is their service. I was extremely happy with our server. Her name was Connie, so friendly and polite. The service was very fast as well. Our hot dishes came out within 5-10 min of ordering and my son loved it…which says a lot as he’s an extremely picky eater. The sushi was on par with what you’d expect from Kyotos as well. I wish more rolls had cream cheese but the rolls we had tonight were delicious. Will definitely be coming back and this will be my new spot for AYCE sushi, huge plus it’s in St. Cloud!

Very good food and service, especially for a soft open. We ordered 7 different types of sushi and rolls, shu mai, tempura, fried rice,and curry beef. All of them were great. With a little tweak to the atmosphere this would be exceptional. We’ll definitely come back.
