Food was good. Service wasn’t that great. Didn’t get a refill the whole time we were there. When I paid with card and left a cash tip on table the lady asked me if I forgot tip. I told her it was on the table.

The best gamjatang in town. You will find lots of meat in the soup. We do not live in this area but we always stop by this place for this soup if we drive by Federal way.

Writing this review on my way home from this place. I came here straight here from the airport. After a 10 hour layover in Korea. I looked up a famous soondae soup house in the kalgooksoo alley of namdaemoon market. I thought I was finally going to find a bowl of soup to dethrone this place. Nope. Did not even come close. Not to say I haven’t had many other bowls of soup that compete with this place. But Yangpyung is truly a solid spot and very thankful to live within driving distance of it.

Really good food and service. The server was super nice and gave us great service. It was our first time and the broth was super delicious. We were supposed to go next door but they were close, luckily this place was open and our detour plan became a blessing to try this place out. Parking is located anywhere. Excellent place for Korean food outside the usual bibimbap/bulgogi canon. Doesn’t seem like it’s ever too busy so it’s a great stop if you’re in Federal Way and want Bo Ssam!
