It’s a great location, me and my friend were so excited to try this place but it turned out to be a bummer because of the food and drinks. We ordered a blacked salmon salad and portobello stuffed mushrooms. While the mushrooms was ok, the salad was just thrown in. The roasted corn seemed frozen corn and salmon was way over cooked.

Princeton has done it again with another must try historical Establishment. If you looking to sight see and good eats this is it. The decor is definitely historical Georgie Washington vibes. The food is tastefully good. I had the braised short rib over mushroom risotto and it was scrumptious. I enjoyed every bite. The cocktail was refreshing. I will be back to try their brunch they offer on weekends.

Great. Spot, kind of hidden in Princeton. Good beer list, limited food menu.

We’ve been going to the Yankee Doodle Tap Room on and off for over 20 years. What the hell happened? They’ve installed lights bright enough for an operating room. The staff is young and untrained and even the burger and fries we ordered were not up to par. Note – we did ask if the lights could be dimmed and the guy we asked said, maybe, but they stayed super bright the whole time we were there. A woman in booth behind us went up to the hostess to ask where her glass of wine was that she had ordered 15 minutes before, and the hostess said, “I don’t know, I’m not the server.” Sheesh. Won’t be going back any time soon.

Service and food was horrible. We were unacknowledged at our table for 20 mins and didn’t even get menu’s. Finally got our order taken after 30 mins of sitting and waiting. Food came out after we had been there for an hour already, and came out cold and gross. I overheard the server tell the table next to us that the gluten free sweet potato fries aren’t really gluten free because it’s all cooked in the same oil as the regular fries. My steak frites tasted salty, cold, and fishy. My boyfriends korean bbq ribs look like they’ve been sitting out since last night, completely dry meat and the sauce was cold and like jelly. The restaurant wasn’t busy or understaffed because our waiter kept sitting on his phone in front of us! Wish I read the reviews before we came

The iconic restaurant is now hip. It opens up into the attached hotel and the menu has been updated. The famous Norman Rockwell is still behind the bar. I was with a party of 10 and everyone enjoyed their food.

Was there for two nights. First was a little slow on service. Second was a big dinner with a lot of people so it was expected. Tap list was pretty limited with hardly anything local. Food was well done though.

This place has consistently bad service. I have been here three times and the service is always bad. You have to track down someone to get a table, track down a waiter to take your order or ask about your order, and/or have to go find the condiments yourself. This place is extremely disappointing. During my last visit, it took 25 minutes to take our drink order and then the waiter brought our appetizer after we had finished our dinner. Avoid this place at all costs.

Even though they have a sign saying all draft beers are $5 on Tuesday, our waiter claims he had never seen the sign before and wouldn’t honor it. I can’t tell if it’s false advertising or an ignorant waiter. Either take down the sign, or honor it.

Cozy, but well distanced indoors with private igloos outdoors. ($150min and reservation for igloo). Great beers and don’t miss a hot toddy after dinner. Grilled Cheese was good but a little greasy. French Onion soup is good. Lots of history on the walls/tables
