Very distinct flavored rice noodle. I ordered roasted pork rice noodle and beef pancake. I’m not a pancake person but her beef pancake swept me off my feet. The sauce, dough and cilantro were very well balanced. The rice noodle is also very delicious

I have been waiting to try the non-instant version of luosifen ever since having several packs of the instant kind you can buy at Chinese grocery stores. I had the A18 luosifen with duck blood. My partner had the dry luosifen with duck feet. And for an appetizer we got the Taiwanese stinky tofu. We enjoyed our dishes very much. As I said, it tasted great and without the kind of preservatives you find in the instant kind. The owner was friendly and made sure to check in on every table to explain the menu and instruct on how to use the vinegar and spicy seasonings on the table to add extra flavor to the noodles. If I only lived closer, I would come here far more often.

Authentic hand made and original recipes of unique Chinese style noodles and other delicacies. The owner was very patient in explaining in detail their menu given it was our first visit. I had the beef flank luosifen (item no. A10), with add-on peanuts and marinated egg, medium spicy. It was delicious. This review came from a Chinese with authentic Chinese food experience. Please support this wonderful local small business.

This place specializes in Lousifen style soup noodles. It is from a region in China where the soup base is a mix of pork bones and river snails and somewhat spicy. There’s no snail meat in it but think of it more along the flavor of clams.

It’s a literal mom-and-pop shop run by an American man who married someone from the Guangxi province of China. Their specialty is the luosifen (very tasty dish consisting of rice noodles boiled and served in a soup. The stock that forms the soup is made by stewing river snails and pork bones for several hours with black cardamom, fennel seed, dried tangerine peel, cassia bark, cloves, white pepper, bay leaf, licorice root, sand ginger, and star anise.) The noodle soup belongs up there with ramen, bun bo hue, tom kha, and other scrumptious noodle soup dishes with strong umami. I highly recommend this restaurant. Their version of calamari is very delicious too.

We stopped by to try the Taiwanese dishes, and were disappointed to find out that they are off the menu. Chicken Claws were flavorful enough, but the other dishes were just ordinary. We have had better Luosifen not only in China, but around here as well.
