This is an authentic Caribbean restaurant, the staff was very nice but the it took a while for my order to be completed. The food was pretty good, the rice was a bit dry but they have gravy to go over jr and the portion size was pretty big. I’d definitely go back.

My first time there and I order some food for take out for lunch and it was delicious. I order Barbifry Chicken. It was $16 for a large size. The portions of the food speak for the price. Very nice portions. Overall great food. I highly recommend. Will go back again.

The guys at Hollywood barber shop recommended this and I’m glad they did! Just took my son there and it was so good! Great jerk chicken, rice and beans, and callaloo. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be back!

I’m kind of shocked that there’s a good legitimate Jamaican place in this town. It’s very comparable to meals I’ve had in other cities that have a much larger Jamaican population. I’ve seen some complaints about food being dry, I wonder if that’s a byproduct of eating later in the day generally I’ll put in my order around 5:00 or 6:00 and it’s perfect. This little strip mall has some incredible food. The Jamaican place is excellent and the UzBecki restaurant nearby is probably the best restaurant representing the Russian sphere of influence since mirage moved away from its old menu.

Our food was seasoned to perfection. We loved the coconut curry chick peas. The portions were healthy sizes and the service was good. My wife and I do not eat animal products and their vegan options did not disappoint. We will be consistent repeat customers.

The stuffed plantain with akee and salt fish took me back to our Jamaica trip! It was late in the evening and we did dine in. We had the jerk chicken, delicious, and the shrimp curry. They were out of some things due to late hour. I tasted the goat curry and it was flavorful and tender. The rice and peas were dry as stated in many reviews. I just added it to my curry sauce! Large portions and friendly family service.

I had Jerk Chicken, Beans and Peas and Mac & Cheese. It was all fabulous. The spiciness was just right. The flavors were wonderful. I felt really good after dinner, too…there was something special about the meal. I asked them if it was a family recipe and they said it was. I’ve traveled to the Caribbean and this restaurant felt like the family-owned businesses that I remember when I was there. It brought back fond memories. My only suggestion was that the music was a bit too loud for me, but they graciously turned it down for us. We will definitely come back.

If I’m not making my own Caribbean food, I’m not settling for any other place but Yard Vybz!! I just finished the curry lamb with cabbage, rice n peas and sweet plantains. SO delicious and cooked with true Caribbean soul. I’ve tried so many other dishes, and they have never missed a beat! I recommend them to others and those who listen, they always come back with rave reviews! My favorite Jamaican restaurant in the Greater Cincinnati area (and yes, I’ve tried about four others and non compare)!
