Authentic! Delicious! Warm and caring. This place is unassuming but outstanding in every way. We had fried grouper that was tasty solid, but light and delicate at the same time. The curry goat was delicious and the jerked tofu was the best tofu I’ve ever had. The owners treat you like family and will even tell you exactly what you want. The best!

I called here because I was desperate for something to eat, the lady who picked up the phone assured me they make Ital food and have lots of options for vegans. So I gave it a try. I was not disappointed. This meal satisfied me while I was down south. Yardie Spice is a must stop if you ever are in the area and in the mood for Jamaican food.

Amazing jerk chicken! We have tried most of the menu and it’s all good. Friendly service from JP and crew. Always a fun island vibe. Highly recommend!!!

Great food and great service! There was only one outside light, and inside wasn’t visible from outside. So I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was so glad I didn’t walk away and leave. The lady (most likely the owner) was so kind that she explained some of the recommended dishes and answered our questions since this was our first time. Because I was craving for chickens, I ordered their combo #1. She warned us that all of their food was spicy, but it wasn’t that spicy for me. I enjoyed everything on the plate. It was very tasty, and I wished I had a bigger stomach to try different dishes since they all looked good!

So I was down here in Homestead as a home base for exploring Biscayne and Everglades National Parks. I had a gap of time between my kayaking tour and my boat tour at the Biscayne, so I decided to race back into town and try one of the absolute best sounding restaurants in the state. The lowkey awards this place has been winning really make it sound like a must-see.

Upon our entry to Yardie Spice, the owner of the restaurant made quite the impression on us as first-time guests. He guided us through the menu on the wall, providing us recommendations and detailed descriptions of menu items. All our food was served with beautiful presentation. We felt very well-taken care of.

Wish we could give more stars. The food was delicious. It’s definitely Spicey, but that’s true Jamaican food for ya. The owner and family were so kind and make you feel at home. I got the Jamaican jerk and it was wonderful. Rice is great. Yuca fries were yummy 599.

Amazing food in a laid back environment. Prices were fair for the amazing food we had! Loved the Leon’s vegetables and the yucca fries, wish we could have tried the vegetable empanada. Loved that there were so many delicious vegan and vegetarian options!

The food was amazing. I had the curry goat and my husband had the oxtail. Upon arriving the owner was so friendly, asked us where we were from, gave us suggestions on what to order, such a nice guy and the food was awesome. Must go if you want authentic Jamaican.
