This will probably be our go to lunch place from now on. Simple fresh sushi, great prices. I’ll try the noodles next time. Everything was tasty and prepared a la carte. The sushi was flavorful, the rice was very good, fresh. The nori wasn’t chewy, didnt taste cheap or old (I think that’s a problem with all this humidity). Not a ton of fancy rolls, but that probably keeps the prices down without sacrificing quality and flavor.

They deserve the high 4.9 star rating indeed. Fresh fresh sushi at very good prices, great energy and true authentic Japanese style. The green tea was delicious too. We enjoyed an early dinner and would say this is the BEST restaurant on the island so far in our 3 weeks of being all over. Bravo. Arigato!!!

As a huge fan of sushi, I have had it all over the world. This place, while slightly ‘bare bones’ in decor (new, and obviously a work in progress), the food was fantastic! My partner and daughter enjoyed 5 different rolls and enjoyed them all. Prices are more than reasonable and service was prompt.

My kids and myself absolutely love this place! The decor and bathrooms aren’t fancy. But it’s the absolute best shrimp tempura dragon rolls I have ever had. My kids beg to eat there and for 18 pieces for 10.99–you can’t got wrong! You can see them making it fresh and no rotten fish smell like some other sushi places. Their miso soup is delicious too!

I rarely review places, but I had to for Yasuhiro! The decor is totally barren to the point I was about to turn around and leave, but the place is spotlessly clean and the sushi is wonderful, fresh and delicious. The proprietors are really nice and they were so conscientious of my son’s complicated food allergies, checking multiple times with us on food ingredients. The prices are also phenomenal. And get the Thai stick roll with cilantro and Thai basil, totally amazing.

The decor is not great. The selection is minimum; there are only a few rolls, two or three bowl options, and pretty much only a few sodas and water to drink. You have to order at the counter. HOWEVER this is a really great deal for sushi. We stopped for lunch and were amazed at the quality for the price we paid. Highly recommend for take-out.

Sushi is delicious! Price is reasonable. We ordered the 3 roll special and it was filling! I rate it 4 star because the wait was a little long and the water tasted funky. Other than that I would have rated it a 5 star.

The best restaurant in Keaau! They serve sushi fresh and fast in a no frills little shop for so little I feel guilty. 19.99$ for a combo platter of sushi that easily feeds three! Spicy tuna and dragon rolls are my favorites. The ahi can’t be beat. A once a week treat for my family!
