Just Being Me
Service was not great! They, 3 employees behind the counter, seemed more concerned about restocking and resupplying, than waiting on customer. Somewhat scatterbrained! Not clear, as to where the line begins and who is waiting for orders. Had to be asked twice for what I wanted. Messed up order for iced chai latte, received it hot and they were going to just put ice in another cup and pour it in! No! I don’t want a watered down!

This is a great place to grab snacks, food, drinks, pastries, or coffee. If you don’t feel like waiting at the restaurant, this is a great alternative. We actually went to the Tavern restaurant, and came here afterwards. I almost wished we would’ve just stopped here instead. The food is already made, so it’s fast, and it’s less expensive than the restaurant.

The cafe is starbucks. The icecream has four flavors- strawberry, vanilla, mint chip, and peanutbutter (but the peanutbutter both looks and tastes like chocolate). The staff are very friendly.

We enjoyed the service, coffee, and breakfast burrito at Yavapi Coffee and Ice Cream on two consecutive mornings. The workers are polite, cheerful, and fast. The long line moves quickly. The breakfast burrito is a complete breakfast and is the best I’ve ever tasted.

There were getting coffees mixed up – I ordered a large and received a regular Frappuccino and it tasted like they used something sugar free. It had that after taste then i found a bug in it. All that for waiting in the long line – it was so not worth it and it is not very clean – at least today.

It’s an okay burrito and coffee but it fills up the stomach. Just right tune your expectations.

They are certainly understaffed but if you’re a person with patience, the coffees are terrific and will warm your soul on cold Grand Canyon mornings. We really enjoyed chatting with the worker and also picked up some to-go food. I imagine lines are common, so again, just be patient.

I was the only customer in the shop but had to wait over 20mins for the 1 staff member to finish lining up the items in the fridge before he served me. Chai Latte was a warm cup of milk not Chai Latte. Blueberry scone was rock hard. Cost $8.82. At a guess the chap had no idea what a Chai Latee is and needs training. Not sure how old the scone was.
