Oxtail had no Jamaican flavor. No spices no herbs and as you see, they must’ve RAN OUT of meat, charged dinner prices- this was definitely lunch serving of subpar oxtail. They also forgot the gravy!!!!! Plus the rice was OLD af it had a glazed-over look with a crunch. Yummy will never order from here again.

Very disappointing. I got the Oxtail & Jerk Chicken combo with steamed vegetables and mac and cheese. The cabbage was too firm and had Zero seasoning. The oxtails were about the size of a silver dollar and nothing but fat & bone. The jerk chicken was tender, but didn’t have any jerk flavoring. Tasted like plain smoked chicken.

OMG!! Delicious I had the Curry Goat, Jamaica rice/peas with steamed vegetables!! I have not had such authentic Jamaica food since I’ve moved from Jersey to here 14 years ago. Believe me I’ll reorder again, maybe come dine in with the family ❤️❤️

Food was not good . This was suppose to be a large order of brown stew chicken which it’s clearly not . Brown stew had no flavor , rice and peas was dry and tasted reheated in a oven , cabbage was hard and tasted like it had soy sauce on it . My husband is Jamaican and was highly disappointed. Will not return .

This place has the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I placed two orders of oxtail to go and waited one hour. There were only 3 people ahead of me. When the order finally arrived, I checked and noticed one of the oxtail orders was mostly jerk chicken with one piece of oxtail. I told the cashier I never ordered any jerk chicken and wanted it fixed. I think the cook assumes since it’s a takeout order, I wouldn’t know and gave me the cheaper chicken instead of oxtail. I also ordered a peach drink and they messed up and gave me ginger. Never coming back again!!

I ordered the oxtails with Jamaican rice and peas with the steam vegetables. I received a ton of rice. And maybe two ox tails, they cheated me out of the Meat. They know that the oxtails should have been in the bigger part of the box. Instead, I received a plate of rice. The food was good. Just the portion size and the Customer Service was not well.

I ordered a vegetable roti and side callaloo. The callaloo was salty. The roti itself was dry and tasteless. The filling was only undercooked cabbage and grated carrots. No pumpkin, no chana, no potato. They seem to have ok reviews. Maybe their meat dishes are a better option. Never again.

This was one of my favorite places we went to eat at in New Orleans. Everything we tried was amazing and authentically Caribbean. It was like eating at a family reunion. We had the goat and jerk chicken combo, which came with rice and peas, plantains, and macaroni. We also had a couple patties. Highly recommended if you want real Caribbean food. Great portion size too!
