Ye Olde Pizza Shoppe, Well, I have been wanting to try this place for some time. First time I stopped in by the time someone came out, I couldn’t wait any longer to have lunch. That was a while ago finally seen they have a lunch buffet and thought that’s great it will be fast. When I walked in, I didn’t see a menu and wasn’t sure where to go. Door opens to a pick-up spot, and the register is to the right, just in a side room where the buffet pizza was as well. The inside was pretty cool with the ammunition and ordinance box wood on the walls. This lower area is rather small with the tables to sit at in another room from the buffet crossing the main entry door. I could see a potential issue if it were to get busy. Ok, the pizza, this is a hard one. I was starving and craving pizza. I came in towards the end of the buffet time, so I kinda of get it. The pizza was so dry and hard with a cracker style thin crust that was so dry it was crazy. Even the toppings were dry. I was debating on whether to try it or not. But I only had a short time for break, so I tried. So so dry! After I paid, I was told they would have a fresh pizza out in a few minutes it took about 12 to 15 minutes, not too bad on time, really, but it was obvious they really didn’t plan on having anyone show up for the time remaining of the buffet that ends at 3. Turns out the fresh pizza was better mainly because the cheese was more melted, but the crust was just as dry. I know some people like the cracker style crust. I guess I’m not a fan. Honestly, the biggest problem I had was after I left and grabbed a few more drinks was the aftertaste, and the only time I get that way is with canned sauce. Like I said, I kind of get it. it’s a buffet, and at the end of the time, Frame. It does seem like a lot of things are changing. There is a sign that says they will be closed on Tuesday. I think to put more stuff in there or upstairs, but I’m not sure. And of course, this could have just been a one-off bad day I have seen good reviews if I come back for a second chance, not the buffet, definitely but something else and it’s good I will update this review but it might be awhile. Sorry Ye Old Pizza Shoppe I think the pizza just sat out too long. Hope it’s better next time.

Tried this pizza place first time yesterday and yummy! There was a gentleman there that remade our pizza because we asked for white sauce and someone else accidentally did red, no complaints with the remade! The toppings were hefty and put us in food coma on our way home, we will be visiting more frequently there now yummmm. The look of the place was awesome too my husband and I were admiring the creativity and work while waiting for our food. Highly recommend

The pizza was good, hometown pizza. But the service was tremendous. Everyone clearly enjoys working there and was very kind and fun and attentive. Really excellent experience.

Interesting place for sure. Place is like stepping back in time. The Service was good and as it was our first time there we might try it again. The fact that they microwave their hot wings is a big turnoff as they don’t have the crispy outside and just felt soggy. The lasagna was a huge portion and didn’t have much pasta which gives more of meat, cheese and sauce. However because is was cold in the middle it made it hard to eat the whole thing. However it was delicious and tasted homemade. The pizza was good but they could take it to the next level by baking it at a higher heat as it was missing that crispness that pizza has from a hotter oven. The menu looked diverse but they could get better with a few adjustments. Pizza Plus in California still the best as cooking with a hotter oven makes a difference.

It astounds me how this place has changed hands so many times and yet the pizza has remained the same. Lots of (canned?) ingredients on top, zero flavor. The interior has had no upgrades or changes either. It is so quiet in there and feels empty. The crust is still overcooked and flat. This time when we went there were black flakes in our drinks. I am guessing its from the ice, which means they aren’t cleaning their ice box. Ew. What else aren’t they cleaning? I have never recommended this place and it seems it will remain that way. Flavorless, unhygienic, empty. I wish this place would shut down and get turned into something new already. It has been a drain on the town for years.

Buyer beware. The taco pizza is really just a bunch of chips on top of a dry crust. Ask for extra meat or something because the product they gave us was horrible. Really disappointed for the price. Save the cash and go to little ceasers.

I’ve always loved this place, even though our pizza was a bit doughy it still tasted amazing. Their breaded mushrooms were the best. I remember going here when it was at the plaza where rue 21 is now, it was the only place that had pizza with shrimp
