Fantastic food and service and smells so good in there with the itan (incense) and buna (coffee). Right when they opened for lunch I had the shekla tibs (pictured) there and a gored gored to go. Waitress was excellent. I made a short video on YouTube (search for statisticool and yeshi kitfo).

Yeshi Kitfo is such a candid place to dine. The restaurant fits all the standards and amenities. State of art furniture, fittings, and comfortable seats made the restaurant fancy and immaculate!! The food is amazingly delicious! I tried the veggie Combo platter with famous “ethiopian shiro”, meaning grounded chickpeas stew in the picture. It was a great experience and I enjoyed brief chat with the owner “Andy” a wise, work ethic and outstanding chef of the house signature “Kitfo”. I can’t wait next Saturday to try kitfo. We had cordial conversation and business attire discussion to contribute continous improvements on Ethiopian food for the DMV area customers at large.

Amazing middle eastern food, great service and atmosphere. We tried the vegetarian appetizer, my husband had beef and chicken shawarma sandwiches and for me I tried a fatteh. Everything was beyond of delicious. Highly recommend!

Please DON’T serve SPOILED FOOD! It’s better to say you are out of a dish than serve a spoiled one. I placed a take out order 3 days ago. I ordered special kitfo and lega tibs. The tibs was ok. The ayib and gomen on the other hand didn’t taste right. I ate the kitfo that wasn’t in contact with the sides, which wasn’t as good as usual. All to say I have never experienced food poisoning like this before.
