Couldn’t get a drink at the boat bar because there was only one bartender and he was busy fighting with his girlfriend. My husband had to go inside to order which defeats the purpose of an outdoor bar. A bar this size should have more than one bartender and not fighting with significant others. Very quick service inside though. Many others are outside still waiting for an initial greet. Next time I will go somewhere else. 30 minutes in and I still have not been greeted…. This is not what I go on vacation for. Plenty of other options around here.

First I’ll start with the vibe. Server was nice, actually everyone I came in contact with was actually pretty nice. We went when there was a country cover singer guy out back. This guy was a great singer, made me miss my dead dog and old country roads even though I grew up a city boy.

Visiting on Spring Break, 2 adults 3 teens. It was in between meal times around 3:45 and not very busy. We waited an unusually long time because the busser seemed to be MIA. A few of them scrambled to clear tables. They sat us while it was still a little wet– and we sat so long with our menus that we were packing up and going to find somewhere else to eat with our cranky kids. Manager, Dave graciously came over and apologized, acknowledged we’d been sitting too long and offered to serve us himself–saving our business. He comped a full table of appetizers: nachos, guac, salsa, and queso. All delicious. Barbacoa and street steak tacos were great. The firecracker taco was unique and full of flavor. We tried the cheesecake chimichanga, and we were warned it would be 12 minutes to prepare. Just crunchy enough, warm and sweet on the inside, a nice balance of cinnamon and sugar. The vanilla ice cream was a nice complement. We ended up really enjoying our taco Tuesday because of the efforts of Dave

4 Wisconsin girls went out on vacation and fell in love with this place. The nachos were great, the tacos were ABSOLUTELY out of this world. The young waiter that moved to Alabama from Iowa was extremely great and had an outstanding personality. The atmosphere was great and we will be back again one day (maybe) (if we come to town again)!

Ate here because we needed something close to the expo center, so of course its a tourist trap spot. Right on the marina, this is a joint serving up typical pub fare. The server was friendly, the beer selection was limited, and the food was ok. We sat outside, wasn’t too hot and overcast so it .are it bearable. Ordered a jerk chicken sandwich and it was pretty shy on the jerk seasoning. Usually this type of marinade has a nice, habaňaro sting and flavor, but this sandwich fell well short of that. It was served with fries, and sadly it was such a small amount of fries. I wouldn’t usually complain about fried carbohydrates, but in my opinion it wasn’t proportional to the sandwich. Sandwhich wasn’t that big either: the bun was a plain old store-bought hamburger bun with a little piece of chicken on it. The boneless wings and sauce were pretty good. And they give you a ton of chips. This wouldn’t be my first choice to eat again, as I prefer smaller, local dive-dive type joints instead of expensive tourist spots. It suited the needs for the time crunch i was on, ut I can’t say ill be back here as a frequent flyer

The food is seriously disgusting here. The saving grace is the atmosphere and staff. Both were awesome but I would never go back. Waste of money.

Our nachos came out soaking in water that was not drained from the braised chicken (see photo). When we told our server, she kindly got us a new order which was brought out by the manager. He told us this new batch of nachos was “the best they could do” in terms of not having the food sitting in water and making the chips soggy. Easily the worst nachos I have ever eaten. Although our server/bartender (AnaLee) was great and provided superior service, we will not be returning or recommending Yo Ho’s to any friends or family when they visit.

My husband had the tequila flight which was by far the best thing on the menu! Great price and generous pours. Nice patio right by the water. Service was great. The food was okay.

The outside bar had Happy Hour signs that stated 2 dollar Miller Lite and 2.50 Margaritas. My wife and I ordered one beer and a margarita, however when we cashed out our tab was over 12 dollars. We were then told, by the bartender, that was only for inside and they did not offer happy hour. Both bartenders were young men and appeared miserable in their demeanor and in their interaction with customers. The band was good and soliciting tips for the bartenders. My tip is to get another job. Very poor customer service.
