This place was a first in our books. When you first walk in you have a great cleansing feeling. You grab your menus by the cashier. Sit down, figure what you would like. I went with c14. It was ramen with chicken and corn green onions, and I added mushrooms . The broth was a soy sauce base. Wasn’t to bad, but prefer more of a mix ingredient taste. My husband got a spicy soup was also great. My kids shared Japanese fried rice and add chicken for a dollar. You clean up after your self. And leave they trays by the door. Over all great experience!

My daughter loves ramen and is always wanting the fancy kind from HEB so I decided it would be fun to take her to lunch for gourmet style noddles. We ordered a chicken dish and a pork dish so we could sample each other’s food. It was great. I enjoyed the flavors and the bigger noddles where a fun surprise. My daughter gives this place a 4 because she doesn’t care for the texture of boiled meat. She is 12 and we had a wonderful time hanging out together.

The dine-in area was very clean and smelled fresh. The ramen was amazing; reminded me of the Ramen shops in Tokyo. I definitely recommend Yokai Ramen to anyone looking for a great authentic ramen place to eat.

The cold front blew in, and with the temperature drop, it’s the perfect weather for ramen and soup. We thought to try @yokairamensa out for dinner.

Absolutely delicious. One of the best bowls of Ramen I’ve had in SA so far. Their Tonkotsu broth is insanely creamy and rich.

The place is tucked away in the shopping center across from the HEB. Once you find it, the ambiance is like a ramen shop in Japan. The service is quick and the food comes out nice and fresh. There’s free water at the counter next to the food pickup area, that’s a plus. The tonkotsu ramen is a classic and tastes amazing. The croquette is also really good, nice and hot and flavorful. Definitely come here to get your ramen fix, there was only one other person when I went.

Yokai ramen was awesome!! Small and cozy ramen shop. Service was nice and the employees were polite. You order upfront and pick up your food up through a small window and choose where you would like to sit which is nice. Togo cups and bags are left up front to grab at your need. Super yummy would definitely recommend

I came to this restaurant on a lazy Sunday just by google searching ramen near me. I didn’t know this place was here on thousand oaks but the atmosphere was so inviting and nice and when my Spicy tonkotsu ramen and honey cream cheese puffs came the aroma and eye pleasing appeal was too much for the senses I dug in without taking a before picture but took a after picture that should tell you enough how good there food is and I washed it all down with a yokail fruit tea was amazing as well they even give you a complimentary cup when you buy a tea

I want to point out first and foremost that I do enjoy the decor a lot. Makes it feel like I am eating at Ichiraku Ramen.
