Came here for the first time yesterday, and I was very pleased with my experience. I didn’t really like sushi, but this the hot cheeto roll here definitely got me to like some sort of sushi. The service was fast, food was amazing, and the ambience was calm. Will be back for a second time.

I ordered the Cheeto sushi rolls and it came like this. I called and tried to dispute this and was told nothing can be done. I paid over $100 for the food and it was thrown together like this! I definitely recommend not wasting money at this place.

It was okay! I had it delivered to my house because of a coupon I had from Favor. It was pretty pricey (actually a lot more than advertised on Favor) Everything was a bit average. The rice was a little hard and the eggrolls were not very good. The cucumbers in the squid salad were kind of mushy and it had a slight off smell.. I wouldn’t pay to go here again, HEB Sushi is better for much cheaper.

Not sure how this place has 3.9 stars cause it should be a 1.5 that’s only because the place was peaceful and clean. The food here needs some serious work; the California and the Philadelphia Roll are a thumbs down and the Combination Rice was horrible, good thing they dont serve you enough of it (maybe invest in a rice scooper like over Asian restaurants) and the beef was nothing but nerves. Sadly the above mentioned food where the only things I ordered. Also cost of food was a bit high, reason being it’s not a fancy place and the food presentation was also not great.

I remember the old Yokos on 10th…so wanted to try this one out and my wife and I loved it. I was actually surprised at how small the place is…the Yokos on 10th was a good size…this one felt small.

This time around was not the same. Sushi we selected was definately delicious. But apparently they had a new chef so the Emperors boat did not come out the same nor did the amount of meat it had was not the same. Even less so this time. Less beef and was given fried chicken instead of grilled as before and more fried shrimp was added and they forgot the cabbage underneath all the meat. Only thing that was hot on the boat was the fried stuff shrimp. Everything else was barely warm. I added a pic of what the Emperors boat looked like the first time we got it. And Hot Damn it was amazing. Wish I could have given 5 stars this time. Sometimes change is not good

Ordered for the first time friend recommended. Let’s start with the actual sushi itself. The Rainbow roll had very little sushi on top, and the sashimi sorry but quality just was not there. The squid salad was tasty however insufficient wasabi, with very little soy sauce, even though I asked (Luis or whoever answered the phone) for more they said no and if that was a bad enough, they did not even include chopsticks. Lol! I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
