What a fantastic discovery this afternoon—our first time at Yoli! I’ve seen it raved about on the Bend Foodies FB group and just had to try—the wife and I were so happy we did. Every bite was a mouthful of uniquely delicious happiness. Our lovely server clearly took great pride in the restaurant, and graciously received our enthusiastic praise. The decor is delicately, artistically designed to complement the restaurant’s focus on fantastic Korean cuisine. Our server shared that the restaurant is owned by the creators and former owners of 5 Spice who have moved on to create Yoli, their passion project. You won’t be disappointed by the flavors! Next time we’d love to try the cocktails and the desserts—there’s so much here that is unique and stylishly crafted. ♥️

2.5 stars. We were excited to dine here but unfortunately I can’t recommend it. The food ranged from okay to bad. As an example the Yellowtail Hwe was bland and lacked acid. In addition it was not “thinly sliced ribbons” as described in the menu (see photo). The atmosphere of the restaurant is horrible and they desperately need a designer. It’s a converted commercial space and it feels like you’re eating in an office. The waiter was trying his best but they clearly need more staff and dishes were taking a long time to be cooked. Perhaps to sum it up my wife noticed in the restroom that there were Lego flowers in a vase of water and a Ratatouille picture with the quote, “Anyone can cook.” Apparently not.

What a wonderful surprise to have great Korean food in Bend! High quality legit Korean food with surprisingly wide variety and some fun twists. Really friendly staff that made the experience even better. And the banchan was perfectly seasoned.

The overall restaurant environment was stylish and felt like a high end restaurant. The food, however, was not great, as a Korean, it was disappointing. If the chef’s intention is high-quality, he needs to be faithful to the foundation of basic Korean food.

Food was fancy but not nearly as tasty as it was pretty. Steak was basically burnt and many of the starters were incredibly small/ had very little flavor.

Joe Kim certainly deserved to get a James Beard nomination again. Absolutely incredible. Highly recommend the yukhoe (waygu beef tartare), tteok bokki (chewy spicy rice cake ) & ssam with the banchan. His wife (the manager) is knowledgeable and very friendly.

I had a great time here! The food is delicious. The service is quick and everyone is kind. The portions are great for the price you pay. Make sure you make a reservation as it can get busy and it is a smaller restaurant.

Just.. wow!! Every single thing WOW. Highly recommend coming here as a double date spot so that as a table you can try as many dishes as possible! We ordered a good amount of starters and then each a separate entree and every item was delicious. Staff was friendly and our experience was great. Definitely recommend making a reservation as the space is fairly small!

We love Yoli! Everything is always delicious. Today we had the set lunch, plus the corn cheese appetizer. Spicy Fried Chicken and the Bulgogi. Great cocktails and Korean beer too.
