Disappointing experience. I called ahead to ask for a reservation and was told I didn’t need one, they had plenty of availability. Paid for parking, walked in and the employee looked us over (dressed up for a show at the Keller) and told us it would be at least a 45 min wait, even though there were a number of empty tables. When I explained I’d called earlier and was told there was ample availability, she shrugged us off. IDK if she just didn’t like us personally or they were short staffed, but definitely not a great experience.

Aaaaaaaamaxing SUSHI with authenticity! The fish option, quality, and cuts are definitely the best in ALL of Portland and majority of CALIFORNIA. This is a Japanese GEM with a spectacular view of the river that is under valued…this type of place should be $$$$ but a true value.

We had an incredible experience at Yomi. The restaurant is along the river, near downtown. It’s a very trendy and picturesque area. The owners are the sweetest couple. They are engaging, honest, and endearing. The sushi was perfect. The slices of fish were very good size and so fresh. We will be back!
