Great experience with the family, service was great as was the food. One thing, I wish they would have cleaned up around the teppaniaki station. The first thing i noticed when i walked in was dried up splatter around the station which is quite off putting.

Fast, excellent service. Tasty food. Dropped in for a quick lunch and was not disappointed! Had a few Sushi Rolls from their lunch specials. White plate was the Lovers Roll, my favorite! Calamari was absolutely perfect. Will be returning tonight for hibachi!!

If I could give this place a zero I would. We had dinner reservations for 7pm…we were seated exactly at 7, we then found our selves sitting there for over one hour and thirty minutes with NO food, after asking several time and trying not to walk out they bought us soup and salad to butter us up for a few more minutes then bought us crab salad to try and keep us to stay, at 9:00 they finally came over and cooked us our food. We gave them the benefit of the doubt that they had new cooks and were very busy, the chef was amazing but the service was awful. I can understand being busy and new people, 110%. After being extremely unhappy with the service we packed our left overs to go and when I warmed them up for lunch, I was eating my habachi noodles and there was A LARGE WAD OF HAIR wrapped in my noodles. ONE STRAND OKAY???? but a wad like someone ran their fingers through there hair and sprinkled it in my noodles. The most disgusting thing ever, I will never go back to this place. The picture attached was after I threw the hair away and was going through my left overs to find what is pictured.

This restaurant’s food was very bland but still was very good. I was really not thrilled about waiting an hour for someone to come out and order our food. Nevermind the fact that we had to wait 30 minutes just to order our drinks in the beginning. We were out to celebrate a special occasion for my wife but the hibachi chef didn’t start cooking until an hour and a half of waiting! The portions of their Meat & Seafood where kind of small too, just very frustrating!

It was empty at 2 pm when I went. I sat at the sushi bar. The employees were friendly, but the sushi bar was more like a storage room than ready for guests. I assume not many people sit there. The food was good. It’s not the best sushi in CT, but it is acceptable for a quick sushi lunch.

My family and I are frequent to Yougu. This time however, we went for a birthday party and we were very disappointed with the service. My kids’ drinks came out late and watered down. Our sushi came out right before we were about to leave as we were packing up our habachi. We ordered our sushi 1st thing, by the way. Our waiter had a very hard time understanding the orders, food allergies and the fact that I was there with my jamaican family while an Caucasian family, that we made new friends with, was there as well and we explained how I’m paying for my family and they will pay for their family. Bill still came out with all on one bill versus two bills. Very unsatisfied. To make things worse, I decreased the standard 18% tip, and they still charged me more than what I wrote. You bet I called.

If I could give this place less I would. I asked for ramen, and told them they used to have a ramen dish, the lady gave me soup because that’s what is on the menu when I clearly said I don’t want soup. This place needs to update their menu and hire different staff. Immediately threw the food out as it didn’t even remotely look appealing and I didn’t want soup yet they don’t seem to understand that. Never again will I order from here, I’ve been burned twice by this place. Awful service, awful food, surprised they’re still around.
