The guy is very nice, with great customer service, the portion is plenty of food for 1 person at a great price ($22 for the oxtail). They do cash only. Make sure to bring some unless you want to pay the ATM fee.

I purchased the oxtails with rice and peas. Tender. Not extremely flavorful but definitely worth going back.

This place just keep on getting better. I love the oxtails. And I recommend that everyone try the jerk chicken. I tried the oxtails at other nearby restaurants and the seasoning was over kill. That’s why I choose Young’s Jamaican Restaurant. Seasoned to perfection also five stars for presentation and portions.

I arrived in Miami hungry for some Jamaican food, I googled and found young’s restaurant I looked at the food I knew it didn’t look good the goat needed to be cooked down because it was salty, my daughter had me taste her oxtail and the oxtail had no flavor and all fatty!! They didn’Steven cut some of the fat off It looked like he took the food off the stove and served it to us when it wasn’t done cooking. Very disappointing.

I’ve been living in Miami for over 3 years and this is hands down the best Jamaican food over here. I’m gonna have to come once a week because I cannot get over how much flavor each bite had!! The plates are huge and filled up to the top. I even ate the cabbage and I barely do! Everything was just so good. He put oxtail gravy all over my rice and I just know I have to come back for them. The owner was so nice!!! Everything is fresh and delicious. My new favorite spot. Please come try this authentic Jamaican food

FANTASTIC! We came here because of the 5 star review and left satisfied. This guy was NOT cheap on the rice OR oxtail. The flavor was to die for. The service was great “this is how we cook in Jamaica” the man said when he showed me the mouthwatering food before I paid. I. Cannot. Stop. Eating I will definitely be back!

We were only in town for a couple of days, & I was determined to find the best oxtails in town. I researched this before our plane landed. Must say this place had me craving more. The price is unbelievable for the amount of food. By the way, this is a one man show. I don’t know how he is doing this, but he is cranking out some amazing oxtails, jerk pork and jerk chicken. Tastes identical to what I had in Jamaica a few days later & cheaper. Next time we are in Miami we will be back!

I ordered the brown stew chicken and I can say it was by far the best Jamaican food I’ve had in years . One plate is enough to feed 2-3 people . Great prices and quality food .

Visiting from out of town and paid $42 for two dinners. Both were 80% rice and beans 10% meat 10% cabbage. The oxtails were so tiny and flavorless. The sauce on my guy jerk chicken was so watery it wasted all over his shirt and shorts walking a few blocks away. $42 on rice and beans smh I feel like they really did us like that because we’re visiting.
