Honestly, this place is top notch. I don’t know what you all expect when you call in an order to a Chinese restaurant, but they don’t even ask your name – they trust that you will come for what you order because it is delicious. Cold sesame noodles are definitely underrated and are what one could only classify as “dank”. We have never had anything bad from this restaurant. Be clear with what you want on the phone and they will meet your expectations. Yes yes yes, bless.

It’s hard to get Chinese foods that are better without spending much more. They have dishes that are not normally offered in other takeout places so ask them about those. Taste in food is highly subjective, but I think highly of this place, especially after having extensively tried out different Chinese restaurants in three metropolitan areas in VA

I don’t know what happened with some of y’all, but I lived in Cville for two years (2019-2021) and I ordered a lunch or dinner special religiously from Yuan Ho, sometimes more than twice a week, and never had any complaints. In fact, their General Tso’s chicken & sesame chicken are so consistently good that I can’t order either of those things from any Chinese restaurant in my new city, because every single one is so much worse than Yuan Ho— and that’s saying something. My food was always hot, crispy, juicy, delicious— so good that I didn’t even consider ordering anything else. Service was prompt and polite.

Have a great selection of american chinese food. Big and fresh chunks of veggies, which is my marker of a good place. I had the hunan chicken, schezuan beef, and kung pao chicken. All delicious. The wonton soup broth tastes scratch made, which was impressive.

I ordered Hunan Chicken Dinner Special and General Tso Chicken dinner Dinner. My fried rice was dry and tasted old like it was from the previous day. Hunan Chicken had very little flavor and no spice. The General Tso had about 6 pieces of chicken and majority broccoli. Definitely won’t be returning!

The prices are great and the food was really good. The dumplings were way better than expected. The food was definitely better than it was priced for and the portions are huge so your getting more than your money’s worth.its not a 5star restaurant but it gets 5 stars because for the price, location, and level of restaurant it greatly exceeds expectations. Its hard to find cho ho fen noodles anywhere these days and these ones were great.
