Yuko Kitchen is just about a 10 minute walk away from the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum. I ordered the Shrimp Kakiage Tempura Rice Bowl and my bf got the Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl. Both were really good and the portions were huge! I thought my tempura was a little soft instead of crispy and it was so hard to eat since it was all stuck together. I also thought that teriyaki sauce was a bit odd but everything tasted great. We also got a green tea boba which I loved. The servers were fairly friendly and the restaurant gave me kind of bohemian vibes with plants (for sale!) all around. I’d definitely recommend it!

This place is a hidden gem. I love how the plants cover all areas, nice music, and great service. I do wish this place was more spacious. It can get pretty packed around lunchtime. I recommend trying the: apple mint lemonade, so refreshing and not too sweet. The big ebisu roll is really good, but don’t get it if you’re on a date because it’s a huge roll to put in your mouth, lol. Spicy salmon rice cakes are the best here that I’ve ever had. Yellow tomato soup is delicious! And the matcha sesame bar is my bfs favorite dessert. One thing I have to say is, I’m a bit disappointed that they have removed the strawberry cupcake dessert and the Chai chocolate boba drink, those were my favorite! But overall, all dishes have been delicious and they won’t disappoint, huge portions for the price. Enjoy!

Ahh!! I don’t know why I don’t come here more often! I got the BBQ Catfish Bowl-ito and it was very yummy!! The eel sauce it comes with is truly the cherry on top. Just the pick me up I needed for lunch! They also have a sweets display and I wish I got something because they all looked yummy. Next time !!

Stumbled onto this hidden gem after a day at LACMA. The food was so fresh and flavorful! Super nice staff and delicious boba and cookies too. We had the curry rice bowl with tofu and the tasty spicy beef with rice and salad. Would definitely come back to try more dishes!

The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere. There’s a small amount of indoor seating and more tables outdoors. The spicy salmon bowl is a good portion and super tasty. The apple mint lemonade is more like a slushy, which is perfect on really hot days. On another note: they do leave bins for you to bus your table when you finish eating, so please clear off the table when you finish your meal!

The food was so fresh and delicious! The mint lemonade came blended instead of over ice, which was a pleasant surprise, and it was very refreshing! I ordered the Teriyaki Tofu Plate and it was more than filling, even came with dessert! The indoor seating is quite small but I will definitely be coming back!

Great portions. That’s what I like to see when I’m ordering take out. Ordered a meal here for NBA game day and it was just the perfect amount of food. The only thing I wished was they put more chicken, there was too much rice to meat ratio. Otherwise, love this place.

I’m so happy that I finally went to this restaurant! First of all, they have excellent vegan options and sweets, so it wasn’t easy for me to choose exactly what I wanted.

This is such a cute little spot. The address says Wilshire, but it’s not on Wilshire, so I walked right past it. It’s on a side street, right off Wilshire, so take note of that. I was so excited to go because they were within walking distance from my house, and I love Asian food and trying new restaurants. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and rice with a mint lemonade, and it was like $20. The mint lemonade was more of a slush and was quite good. The only thing is that a slush doesn’t work well with a paper straw. It was misery trying to drink it through the straw, which made it less enjoyable. The food was a total fail, I was very disappointed. The chicken was so dry and overcooked, it tasted like it was on the verge of being burnt. It barely had sauce, and I thought the rice was garlic butter but it tasted like nothing at all. This is a place I wouldn’t visit again in the future. Trader Joe’s bagged chicken teriyaki is much better and a lot less expensive.
