There are a lot of dim sum choices. Looks good from the windows, but they are a bit on the cold side. The taste is decent, but the food best for take out, so you can warm them up at home. I do see a lot of folks buying take out, guess those are customers know the drill. The make while you wait cha shiu noddle is $2.49 here and cost $4.39 in OK Cafe across the road. All in all, good prices and friendly service.

Glass noodles are missing small dried shrimp. The shrimp hefen is fishy and gritty don’t get it. The turnip cake is good; chewy and tasty. The siumai is decent. Good value for money.

Great place and very very friendly service and very tasty food with more than reasonable prices for a local casual place to relax and meet with friends for a local social meeting place

Food is decent and cheaply priced. Most dishes are $2.09 and some are a little more. Like that they have dim sum all day. Their soy sauce chicken which is similar to Sam Woo’s is $3.99 for a big to go box and they are quite tasty.

Pretty good food, a large dim sum variety. Prices are pretty cheap, you get 3 pieces for around 2.50 average. Better than the Dim Sum restaurants I’ve been to *cough* NBC Seafood Restaurant *cough*. I recommend the duck wonton noodles. If I lived in L.A, I would go here everyday!

Very bad Service attitude, short of change and over charge. There are many Yum Cha place in this area but this is the one for takeout. It’s supposed to be convenient for the people who just want takeouts, (A takeout place should means fast easy and quick) but the are completely the opposite. The food there is not that good it’s all cold and trashy. Cashier in the morning has a really bad attitude and always overcharge, well maybe because she is old and she doesn’t like her job. I sometimes see customer there tell the server that they have been overcharged but the server will say to customer it’s just a few cents doesn’t matter….. bad bad bad

GET: lemongrass chicken. They have a display of meats that they’ll chop up and box for you. And of course, cheap.

Great price! Good selection of dim sum items! Perfect for on the go and to go items if you’re planning to order in bulk. There is a dining area but it seems like people tend to go buy stuff to-go more often. But it beats having to chase down the cart ladies if you’re in the mood for some dimsum. This place is cash only I believe, but I can’t complain since food here is cheap and pretty good! They also have the bbq pork, duck, and chicken type foods if you’re craving that too. Definitely a go to place for fast dim dum.

Counter service with food court style seating. Food was decent and thrifty, but dining area cleanliness could be improved. Had Lo Bako (turnip cake), wonton soup, and egg custard tart. Good selection though not top quality. Good for quick visits, however parking can be a challenge.

Rice soup (congee) is very good and highly recommended. Can’t beat the convenience of being able to see the huge spread of dim sums to choose from. During peak hours make sure the server sees you so you won’t get passed over. They have other locations but Monterey Park offers wider range of dim sums.
