It was “Okay”. I got the fish and chips. The portion was really good. The batter on the fish was crispy and nicely done. However, after about two pieces, I could taste how oily the fish and batter was. I’ve had better. The fries were not cooked long enough as they were soggy. My wife had the Sezchuan Salmon. She liked the fish and the green beans and thought overall it was good. I also saw a fly in the cookie display, should have caught a picture of that.

I have to confess, I take a walk each morning and pass this place. It looks really cute from the outside. In the summer, they pull the windows out for more of an outdoor feel. I just happen to stumble in the other day and boy am I thankful I did! The menu was much vass than I had assumed and they served alcohol!! The place is just as cute on the inside with plenty of seating and a bakery with lots of yummy treats. I didn’t bring my appetite with me so I only had fries and chicken noodle soup. Both were very good and served fresh and hot! The staff were friendly and very helpful and the bathroom was spotless (my phone died before I could take a picture). I will certainly be back sooner than later!!

Always great food! You can really taste that everything is from scratch here. I love their tuna sandwich with homemade kettle chips. So random but their pickles are to die for! Service is very quick and friendly. Desserts and cupcakes always fresh and so YUMMY, just like the name 🙂

As someone who grew up in the St. Paul suburbs of the Twin Cities, it was a bit of a journey for my family to go to the Yum in St. Louis Park no matter how much we loved it. When I came in town for Christmas, I went to the new St. Paul location for brunch and it was amazing! I had an incredible mint chocolate coffee drink and was incredibly impressed to hear that they make everything in house- including the chocolate! I also had the avocado toast which was incredible. Highly recommend this place!

I stopped in at this Yum! for brunch today and had their French toast. Generous slices of their fresh bread fried up crispy on the outside and soft on the inside covered in whipped cream and berries makes it the best French toast I’ve found in the Cities. The presentation is as beautiful as toast is tasty. Their regular coffee was perfectly brewed up and paired perfectly with the meal. Yum! prices are great ($12-18 for most meals) especially given the high quality food. Yum! staff is always welcoming and friendly too. Seating is comfortable and the spacing of tables makes it easy to have a conversation with friends. I’m a fan of Yum!’s choice to not add the distraction of TVs in their restaurants. Free parking just off of Snelling Ave is helpful too. I recommend any Yum! for breakfast, lunch, or supper – including this one.

This restaurant is very busy however the cashiers alwaysin the front to take ordersand asking if any of the customersneed help. This is a good place for family, friends, kids, and dating people. The restaurant is amazing and pretty cleaned. Services are nice. The food is amazing, and there is a lot of liquid of salty soy sauce on my dishes and I drink a lot of water. It make my full quickly. but I think that’s how the style of dish is so yeah. There wasn’t any parking available on Snelling ave so I had to park a little farther down hill near bridge and walked to the restaurant.

Had not been in to eat at the Snelling location before. Counter service. Large, bright, airy seating area. My husband enjoyed his burger. House made chips are very tasty. I had the tuna melt ( very comfort food). Bathrooms clean! Parking lot tucked behind made it easy access. I have bought cakes from Yum several times. My fave is the coconut. The best. Will return.

Love this place for the most part. Always had good service here and at the location in Eden Prairie. However, both times at the St. Paul location I’ve had food that was a bit off and it is making me re-think how great this place actually is. This time I had the seafood stew which for the most part was so tasty and satisfying. The part that turned me off was that a few of the mussels were overwhelmingly fishy tasting and one was so stuck in the almost closed shell I wasn’t able to get it out. I don’t know if the fishiness is a sign they aren’t as fresh or what. Some of them were quite tasty as expected. Another time we received a salad with watermelon that was mealy and just bad. They did remove it from our bill and commented that they were aware the watermelon wasn’t great. They were nice enough about it that I didn’t question why they served it despite that, but now that I’ve had this subsequent experience it is tainting my overall impression of this place. The concept is good, the food offerings are varied and seem to be more fresh and healthy sounding, but execution is the key to success!
